I’ve asked my dealer for the update for my Macan 4 (september 2025). This was the answer: “For your Macan, only an optional update for the surround view camera is currently available. No other control units can be updated.”.

Think this is weird.

use code wsj0 i even got a "letter" on real "paper" via actual human post person (snail mail) today. booked in for this update next week in London

I’m scheduled to get the latest update along with 4 other recall campaign fixes for my MY25 Macan 4S on Thursday. Looking forward to permanently eliminating the Assistance Systems Limited warnings once and for all!

My car went into the dealer last Thursday for the software update, I've been travelling so only just picked the car up this afternoon (it's now Monday afternoon here in NZ). They said the software update went smooth with no issues whatsoever which I guess is good.

I've only driven it around the block but immediately noticed the PCM showing 5G which it never previously did for me. NZ based.

Do you also have bars next to it indicating signal? If so, how is it? In my case it always shows just one bar even though the signal is very good.

The bars seem to vary for me so far — it regularly shows a full set of signal bars though.

I can pull all module versions for my EV6 but I can only see OBD2 and CAN Gateway modules for the Macan
You were right, I could not pull anything other than the Can Gateway:

Mine (Does not have the Update)
VAG Part number: 85F907468F
Software version: 0044

Our part numbers differ (not sure which one is older/newer).
Also not sure if Software Version 0142 is an indication of the update (i.e. out of several modules the can gateway gets updated to 0142)

Unless more people are willing to share their Can Gateway part no. / Software version I don't think we can deduct anything from this.
I am not having the update done, no issues with my car, they can do it when it's service time so can't compare version before & after.

For all of those that received notification or updates, are you in EU/UK?

So far, i'm not seeing any official campaign information with US regulatory bodies...

I have confirmed with the dealership that a big software update will be performed on my 2025 Macan 4 EV during my service appointment later this week. It was noted that it will take "most of the day" to update.

There are also two other "open" recalls for my car. The seatbelt clip retrofit (which I have asked them not to perform), and the replacement cargo area cover. I was told that this is because the clips for the original cover have failed in some cases.

I will, yes. I had pushed off the service appointment a few times waiting for confirmation of the update availability here on the forums. When I called yesterday about my appointment I specifically asked about any open recalls for my vehicle. They checked using my VIN and informed me that a 'large software update' is available but it will take most of the day to perform that update. Stay tuned.
