SCANNED VEHICLE AND FOUND OVER 200 FAULTS
This happens EACH TIME my car is at the shop for whatever reason - hundreds or errors in the log.
"Don't worry, this happens with every Macan" I was told ;) (seriously)

All this making me wonder...What problem - in God's sake - would be serious enough for them to be worrisome!!??!

For what it’s worth, my dealer told me that the new update allows Porsche Centers to see much more specific error messages. Before, just like you’re saying, they only had access to a big list of generic codes that couldn’t be interpreted properly. After the update, they were able to identify and replace multiple hardware components on my previous car within a month.

So if you haven’t updated yet, I’d honestly suggest doing it. The whole “I won’t fix what isn’t broken” argument doesn’t make much sense here. Porsche wouldn’t push an update to so many cars worldwide unless they were confident it wouldn’t create bigger issues.

In my view, the weak link is the dealers and how some centers handle diagnostics. Porsche might want to be more selective about who gets to operate under their brand.

I'm sorry. I know first hand how frustrating all of these problems are. My Macan 4EV, 2024, has often been in the shop. Recently the car completely died, locked, couldn't get in. Towed to dealer who installed a new Central Box CJ26. A month later I'm now having charging issues and displays going black. Car back in shop two days ago for latest issues but after the current software update, the car now has multiple hard faults. I'm pretty sure the tech may not have had enough experience installing CJ26. Dealer always short staffed of EV techs and never a loaner available. I live 45 miles away and after 1.6 years of ownership I just learned they have a shuttle that they never offered. I'm wondering if I have a lemon and what to do about it. I knew as an early adopter this could happen but I've never experienced anything like this with and brand of car that I've owned. This was my dream car that turned nightmare. I'm anxious about 220 m. road trips to visit daughter that is starting law school soon. Checked the value and I may get $60,000 for a fully loaded Porsche that I paid $104,000 for. Thanks for reading. I'd like to know how this turned out for you.

Had the same type of issues with a F-Pace and then a Velar. Never stopped pushing and sent mails to JLR CEO directly. I can tell you this made things move faster.
