I have auto lift mode set for my home driveway. When I get home, it always engages, unless I'm somehow going faster than 25 mph.
However, when I turn the car on, in the driveway, it usually does not engage again, so I have to do it manually when pulling out. Once in a blue moon, it will engage.
And, when I turn it on manually, it will of course ask me whether I want to store the location, even though it's already in that location. I'm afraid to check how many remembered locations in the same spot it has now ....

I scraped the lip on my Turbo on my driveway -- I was quite surprised as I hadn't done it earlier, I must have approached a slightly different angle.

I got it polished on the car at a Porsche Authorised Centre and it looks like new. I also took the opportunity to put some clear PPF on the gloss lip only -- that is a area prone to stone chips.

interesting. do you have the part number for that piece added to the bottom of the bumper (that you are now replacing on the turbo)?
Part number for the Splitter is 213616030211 I think there are a couple of stickers on the item

There are two different spoilers in the book, one being much more expensive... not saying its right, just interesting. I recall brake parts for some cars were incorrect in parts books. A tech would have to be on the ball to notice and many cars left the shop with undersized rotors.

... oh, its been 10 years and they are still incorrect in some books.

The car lowers itself automatically on the Highway and then back up when you slow down, so do you need to do it manually?
I believe it will return to normal height if the drive mode is in Normal. I have found that it won’t return to the normal height after slowing down if you are in Sport driving mode. That’s where I got into trouble.

Prior to purchasing, I had to double check Lift Mode would allow the car to have enough clearance to get into my driveway. I live on a downhill sloped street and my very short city driveway is only ten feet long, so it is a very odd warped condition going from the sloped street to a level garage within ten feet of length.

I have to approach slowly and I get about an inch clearance the low side, max. It is a tricky maneuver as the street is also narrow with folks parked directly across the street. Often I try to do a three-point type of turn to allow a less oblique angle approach. Have been lucky so far with no scrapes.

The location memory for Lift Mode has worked every time; it engages at about 50 feet from my home. It also sometimes engages when I am on the parallel street passing behind my property at about the same distance away. It also stays lifted while in the garage.

Whoever made the decision the have such a low front splitter is a moron /endrant

To replace it is quite tedious and the non-EV Macan most certainly didn't have this problem. Even in normal mode there are plenty of drives that it scrapes on.

It's how they rate it at over 280 miles of range.
Get the lifted front kit: range rating goes down.

Yeah I might have to do this. They should have made this easier and cheaper to replace imo.

Hi, confirming what I have always been curious about - when you lift the car to get into the garage, it does not return to normal height when you park? You have to lower it back to normal height before you park?

Mine stays elevated in the Lift position while in the garage.
