My wife and I have been having an inconsistent experience with the Easy Entry function i.e. position of the seats, mirrors and steering wheeling adjusting to the settings associated with the key fob used to unlock the car. My wife and I have quite different seat settings so this feature has been welcome on many of our previous cars.

We typically park our MY25 Macan 4 two levels underground. Easy Entry fails to work about one third of the time i.e. seats remain in the position of the other driver if a different driver has unlocked the car. When changing drivers outside where there is strong wireless, the feature has always worked.

My theory is that the feature requires that the car have a wireless connection in order to operate. The wireless connection is weak and unreliable where we park our car in our underground parking garage.

Does anybody know for certain if a wireless connection is required for Easy Entry to work? I asked the Service Advisor at my local Porsche Centre but they didn't know.

What do you mean wireless connection?
The 5G mobile network network for PCM?
Why would that be required?
The ergonomic settings (seat, mirrors, steering) are saved each time when you switch off the car (Porsche calls this switch off "readiness" mode) to your profile linked to your key.
Your profile is automatically selected when you unlock the car.
On you door you also have 3 memory settings for the ergonomic settings which you can save with the SET button.
If you have 2 profiles you have 6 memory settings that you can use in total.
That's in theory.
In practice it's different, my guesses are:
1) Porsche/AAOS software is crap (which is a fact) so 100% success rate is impossible.
2) Both you and your wife reach the car with both keys cars selects "wrong" profile (50% chance) You can verify the profile and even change it in the PCM (although takes an eternity and the system looks like it's having a meltdown while doing it (refer to point 1 above)
3) After wrong profile is selected you or your wife adjust the seat using the controls, the "wrong" settings are now saved when car is switched off and now the correct profile has the wrong settings until they are manually changed and saved again...

I'm the only driver for the car and I found the steering wheel doesn't fully automatically adjust. (it has to move a bit lower) so I hold down the 1 button before driving usually, in additional to changing to sport mode because defaults to normal when I first start the car.
