2026 Macan GTS EV arrives - showroom shots

2026 McCann GTS in dolomite silver with spyder rims also in Dolemite silver. Interior is the full beige-black leather with black center. Trim is Summerwood with neyodine accents.

I’m guessing this was your own configuration and not one you found at a dealer. Correct?

Yes, this was a custom build I created. For software I do have the driver assist and the remote 3D parking. My original build just had the 3-D parking without the remote, but then they removed that middle option at last minute (sneaky)so I was left with an all none choice. Honestly, I don’t think I’m ever going to you stand outside my car and use my phone to move the car around. Seems like more of a risky gimmick than something useful.

On a sidenote, I noticed that the 2027 model no longer allows you to paint the spyder rims the color of the exterior. The explanation I found was that on non-metallic colors the rims have too much detail and ends up looking muddy from a distance. Fortunately, I have the metallic paint and the rims look amazing, especially in real life in bright light. In any case the option is gone for new orders entirely.

A final note of interest is that my XPEL PPF guy says he can PPF right over the GTS decal. Otherwise I would’ve just had to remove it. I will show a picture of that when it’s done.

I would not PPF over the stick on GTS decal. I (PPF shop) always remove them for clean look and will do this again on my GTS coming in about a month. Also, my PPF shop will remove the "electric" stick on the side that will be trapping dirt. My view is that nothing should be on the original paint. I removed the rear badging also this time from factory, but understand if personal preference to flaunt the model badge.

Yes my thought as well but my reasoning was based on the last time I had a decal. It frayed on the edges and looked awful but I may like it if it protected. I am still mulling it over. I will put it to a vote..decal or no decal? I am really on the fence about it.

If you have PPF over a decal it will bubble in short order. Maybe the shop intends to put film over it and then trim it with an Xacto knife? That would make some sense as long as they are careful not to cut into the paint.

Interesting how the photograph makes the beige look almost yellow and black, super black, but in fact in real life, both are much more muted beige,looking darker and a black looking lighter they just blend together very well

Beautiful GTS - congratulations! Personally, I would leave the ‘electric’ badges in place - reapply them after the PPF is done. I think it’s kind of cool to let people know that you are driving an electric Macan, and it’s also good in the unfortunate event where first responders would benefit from knowing that they are putting out a fire on an EV vs an ICE vehicle.
