I assume you mean āBridgestoneā tires?
Couple suggestions and Iām sure others will chime in.
Be sure youāre checking your tire pressures when the tires are fully cold and/or havenāt been driven on for ~7 hours. Personally, I run them at the pressures noted on the door jamb at the fully loaded...
Personally, I would not spend $100k+ (or pay the lease payment on a $100k+ vehicle) and not equip it with the proper tires. As a first time Porsche owner, you may or may not be aware that Porsche specifies specific tires for your Macan 4 (or any other Porsche that you may happen to own)...
@kEV Just curious about two things - the 'My Porsche' app screen capture notes 'Ice Macan'????
Also -curious - are you running your tires at 35 psi? As I recall, full load cold tire pressures listed on the sticker on my Macan 4's door jamb states somewhere around 50 psi.
Is this your first Porsche, perhaps? In every Porsche Iāve owned - 987.1 Cayman, 987.2 Cayman, 964, 993, 991.2 and now Macan 4 - Porsche has always dedicated a separate stalk for the cruise control function. Iām guessing that when cruise control first became a thing, the quickest and easiest...
Not according to the āMy Porscheā app on my iPhone.
I took delivery in April 2025, and the app is displaying October 2026 as the first service date, at approximately 18k miles.
I love my new macan and maybe more veteran Porsche owners will dislike me for saying this, but there are weird engineering or design decisions which honestly serve no one. And for this price point, itās very surprising.
What exactly are the weird engineering or design decisions which serve no one?
Same here. Arrived home from church service yesterday and I noticed that the current SOC wasnāt displayed. I had to rely on the PCM to let me know what the SOC was.
Magically, today I noticed it was working again.
The Macan EV is a great vehicle, but these little quirks are so maddening...
No offense intended to any Porsche sales advisors on this thread or in this forum, however sales advisors are likely not the best source to discuss expected software updates for the PPE platform.
@Bustergordon - I intended to buy a ChargePoint charger for my home, based on my positive experience with ChargePoint at my office. I reached out to my experienced EV friend @Fun TC Driving and he suggested either ChargePoint or Emporia.
I decided to go with the Emporia Pro with PowerSmart (as...
As I mentioned to my friend @Fun TC Driving earlier today, the first thing that turned me off about the Edmundsā review was the narrator beginning the commentary with āI meanā. I realize itās a small point, however, itās pointless meaningless language that we are now hearing every day. š¤¦š»āāļø...
Responding to an old thread - I just happened to see it.
I previously had this exact same issue when it rained - opening up the rear hatch would dump water into the luggage/load space. I was able fortunately to resolve the issue by adjusting the height that the rear hatch opens. I adjusted it...
Turned on the climate control in my Macan 4 via the My Porsche app this morning prior to leaving for the office - temperature was about 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and my Macan was outside on the driveway. Windows were all free of frost, interior nice and warm etc. I attempted to open the rear...
Thanks to @M324 @chrisk @chatBDE and @byebye for sharing your knowledge about the cause of this issue.
Today coming home from the office - cold and damp outside - was the first time I used the interior heating to any degree in my '24 Macan 4. I set both the driver and passenger side to 75...
Thanks - fortunately the Macan wasnāt parked near any trees etc. Very odd / coincidental occurrence to have the hazards self-activate and be logged out of My Porsche app.
Wondering if this has happened to anyone.
This afternoon, I was in my house and just happened to look outside to see the hazard indicators on my Macan 4 flashing. I had just come home from church two hours prior, and the hazard indicators were certainly not flashing when I got out of my Macan...
Using the ventilated seats really helps keep the interior cool in the high temperatures and very high humidity we experience in the south eastern portion of the US.
They are likely service loaners. I believe, however, I could be completely wrong, that here in the US Porsche compels its dealers to take on cars that might not necessarily sell well in that market. I live in the south eastern portion of the US, and it is certainly not a hot bed of EV...
