6 months seems likely, same for me. If you make changes before car config freezes, it may be pushed back. I changed interior colour back and forth which added 1-2 months but not sure if really related.
Even worse, based on the forum there are very, very few affected by this. Don't think our issues are on top of their to do list. More likely regarded as lost cause and moving on.
Our red circles of death are different (high voltage system error vs. Drive system control fault), but both seem to shut off entire drive train system as precaution. True positive = hardware malfunction with correct error message. False positive = no hardware malfunction but error message. The...
Understood. In a nutshell, Porsche is claiming it's a false positive error message to be corrected by software update. Did you notice changes to the drive system while error message was on? Mine just doesn't start.
So far while stationary but thanks for the warning. Not driving it anymore.
If I recall correctly, it happened to you while driving and lucky you found a lay bay close by. Did Porsche confirm it's dangerous to drive?
I agree, that’s odd. You could connect your car via VIN on your App but car is in stealth mode so you don’t get location. Is yours going via Emden?
That's how I remember it as well. Not the additional 2 sounds on top of speed bump which only occur when I break beforehand. I have 10+ speed bumps on my regular school run and quite sensitive in regards to this as my GLE developed rather loud suspension noise.
That's what I usually do. And with faults, car welcomed me with the red circle of death opening while opening the door.
I am not sure how Macan works yet, but from past experience with GLE, system is much more advanced and clever. I learned this the hard way, as 12v battery was drained. Car...
Thank you. Interesting, didn't notice this on loaner Tycan 4s (MY25). According to fellow forum member, Porsche said it is specific for Macan. I am really confused now. Think I need to drive Macan loaner/s.
Next picture would be random Porsche prepared for shipping. Do you have VIN number? If not, my best bet, yours is not entirely finished and paperwork not yet issued.
Sorry being harsh, not in a good mood. Statement was for both. Car not able to start on 2 occasions within first 5 days with no fault identified is a major problem for me. Yes, faults resolved after a couple of minutes (there is no timer so ranges from 5-30 min) but think about it, would you buy...
I second the 99.9% as well. Based on personal experience, number must be much, much lower. I reckon it's closer to 90% than 99.9% as I had/have two lemons. Simple statistics.
Actual hardware related faults may indeed be very low. Car diagnostics usually come back negative leaving engineers...
Mine was build around the same time, took delivery on Monday. My build time was about 7 days longer than expected otherwise milestones matched estimated schedule. Did you get your 3 build pictures?
