I started joining the news group as I had problems with my Macan. There is obviously a selection bias but even though, poll clearly shows disastrous start for Macan EV. And Tycan wasn't plain sailing either. Fair to say, Porsche underestimated transition to EV platforms and rushing out less than...
For some, if not majority, the car works flawless so not buying into software issues alone as this would affect all cars. Seems more likely hardware related problems. With each car component not necessarily sourced from same external manufacturer, components possibly not build to same specs or...
Problems started within first 30 days of ownership. That would have been the third faulty sensor to be replaced. Otherwise very happy with the car so reordered.
Wow. That buckle triggered me to hand back my car. Mine was with porsche for several weeks and after reassurance everything works perfectly I got the same error message within 10 min driving. Out of curiosity, do you have automatic charging flaps? Both got replaced on mine.
I will likely take delivery of new car in the next 2 week (car just arrived at UK port). Some if not all features are fairly standard in the premium SUV market and thus likely finished ahead of new Cayenne EV presentation. As far as I know, new Cayenne EV will be based on same software platform...
Morning,
just got message from Porsche for Tequipment prior to car delivery. Among other new items, wheel arch extension is now available to purchase through Porsche shop UK.

Very sad story. I had a few problem as well. Car was a few weeks in garage and I luckily got a loaner. I asked for detailed list of repairs as I didn't buy into just software updates. Among some minor issues, both automatic charging ports needed replacement. Fair enough, asked to test my car...
Breaking cycle for little things doesn’t make to much sense to me. Looks like they are aligning new model year with electric Cayenne. If so, my guess they will make use of more powerful drivetrain from Cayenne so likely new Macan GTS or Turbo S. Worst case scenario, they upgrade internal...
Not sure if this would be possible at all but surely going to be expensive if not prewired. Tow bar for example can be retrofitted by Porsche for around 2k as it is prewired. Best to ask your dealer.
You are yoking, had problems with the electric charging cover (among other issues) so car eventually went back. Reordered with manual doors to be on the safe side. Can't believe this.
