I'm about to get a Liftmaster 98022 direct drive whilst replacing my garage door. It looks like the antenna for this is a 3-4" wire that is wholly inside the unit when the cover is on, and is partly shielded from the outside by the backup battery! Some additional wiring may be in my future.
