The controls of the passenger screen are a little weird too.
Last weekend, I started a movie playing on the main screen (from USB) but then we wanted to switch this to play the video on the passenger screen.
Apparently (I was driving and couldn't see it), the list of videos in the Music app...
Since Porsche announced they were working with Apple on this, the collaboration with Rivian for car software has also been announced. Rivian doesnāt support Car Play in their own cars.
Who knows what will happen here. Will the current Macan generation will get an update to a Rivian based...
A bit underwhelming.
It's an app with a video with each chapter showing off one aspect of the Bose system. I guess you could use it to help you find the correct settings for your system.
The video does look good on the center display though!
The option to keep the AC on also includes keeping battery pre-conditioning running, if you're navigating via a charging station. My battery temp went up 5 degrees when I stopped for a few minutes this week!
In the USA, the speed sign detection has been about 98% for me.
We have these signs in my area for variable speeds. 30mph usually, with a 20mph limit when an orange light is flashing. School zones use these during the day when necessary.
These display as '20' with a yellow banner on top of...
My post here shows the frunk liner used to hold the pockets for my bottles.

I canāt find the Suncoast instructions mentioned above, and I did not need to remove a plastic part to fit this
Yes, 2 spoiler heights. It seems they're named Eco and Performance.
It looks like only Launch Control gets anything from zero to 55ish km/h, where all modes move to Eco level - about half way.
Then at 90km/h, Sport Plus mode moves to the higher level, but this also happens if the sunroof is...
My seating position makes it so that I can easily see the fully deployed āperformanceā position but not the āecoā one.
The first time I noticed this was when I was trying out Sport Plus mode, and that gets the fully deployed spoiler at regular road speeds.
Despite seeing that chart before, Iād...
This is for the emergency Hood release to open the frunk with a dead 12v
The manual implies it isnāt charging the 12v when used

You can turn it on, but then you have to look at the screen to configure it (with your other hand) for type and strength, unless youāre happy with the current settings.
"Hey Porsche, turn off/on HUD" is really useful if it's in the way (or click the voice button). You can add the custom widget to the three custom center panel that adds a switch too.
The voice control is great for many of the things that you might want to toggle. It also is good at...
I just tried using my USB video, and if you start it on the passenger screen from the Music player(!), that's where it plays.
I have yet to see if it continues playing the video when driving - presumably it will, with the privacy filter enabled, but who knows if anyone tested this at Porsche...
I would indeed. I was on the fence until this last week though.
I am never going to use the track memory feature (maybe I can use this for the Trader Joes Circuit?), or rarely the G metering display, nor the lap timer. But the stiffer steering and quicker throttle response are worth it to me...
One small thing I've noticed from videos, is that the 4S comes with the stainless pedal option as standard (which makes it disappear from the configurator options). These pedals look much nicer than the standard, and I think are a nice upgrade.
On the question of speed, the 4S doesn't feel...
Did a little more testing. The center screen seems to be about 2150 pixels wide, for an aspect ratio of about 2.68:1. So if you have a rip of Ben Hur or something in full width CinemaScope, then bring popcorn and crank up the volume!
