Brief update, no error found. They blame software, sound familiar? They call it symptomatic repair and seems common enough to get own Porsche code and procedure manual. Basically hardware and software reset. Even keys need reprogramming so more than disconnecting 12 volt battery.
Uhm.. Sounds very familiar. Porsche language for that they don’t know anything and pin it to the software yet again.

This really shows that they’re just testing everything out to see what sticks. What’s your game now, if it works you planning to keep it?

Well, I have 20 days left to decide. No idea, really love the car but having these kind of faults within first 7 days without overt cause is really difficult to ignore.

I hate how they speak about software as it’s a small issue. This is an electric car, the whole car operates basically on software which makes it so much more serious when it’s an issue in contrast to ICE.

the air ride makes an sound on impact and on release.
No, it's not that - there is a separate thread and it's diagnosed as a PASM issue. There seems to be a fix for it but only for some cars with specific dates of manufacture.

I very much doubt it's a software problem as software is the same in all cars but not all of them have these issues. Unless software is somehow region-specific and there are different versions for different markets. That would explain quite a lot including my observations that every loaner/demo I got had these random yellow and red errors and warning.

What do you think the main issue will be then? Don’t get me wrong, I tend to agree with you. I don’t think it’s region-specific since I’ve had a Macan 4 loaner for three months without any issues on the same software. Let alone maybe 2-3 other Macans during the past 6 months without any particular issues at all.

UPDATE 2025-11-20

So… I thought I’d give you guys a pleasant update after this update (pun intended).

Everything went completely downhill. I had the car back for a week, and suddenly the DC flap stopped working again. I was basically stranded and ended up returning to the dealer on a Saturday (no technician available). They handed me a demo Taycan so I wouldn’t be stuck the entire weekend.

Long story short: they couldn’t get the DC flap to open on Monday either. Then, out of nowhere, when they pulled the cable in the rear (not even related to the flap), it magically opened. That pretty much confirmed what I told them almost a year ago—those yellow warnings about both sides being impaired weren’t just random, despite being dismissed.

The next day they said: “We can’t find any fault, so we greased the flap and tested it over 20 times. We’ll keep it overnight.”

Next morning? Dead again.

After all this, they still couldn’t find the underlying issue. They contacted Germany, who apparently offered very little help, so the dealer still had no idea what the actual problem was. In the end, they decided to replace both electrical systems and both flaps—even though that isn’t normally allowed under warranty. Porsche approved it because they simply couldn’t pinpoint the fault.

Best part? They still can’t guarantee there aren’t communication issues in the car that are unrelated to the flaps. So at this point it feels like they’re just guessing and treating my car like a parts bin.

In summary: I’m once again in contact with Porsche Sweden because this whole situation is absurd.

Hope you guys are having a nice day though. I’m currently enjoying my 54th loaner.

Well our Macan rwd ev has been almost faultless for 14k. So it seems we are lucky. In this respect we extended the warranty for 3 more years. I hope that after 5 years Porsche will have all issues sorted in an improved Macan.

The Macan in of it self was a successful launch. I don’t take that away from the car, it is just me and a “selected” few that has outliers with many issues. Sadly it hasn’t been handled by Porsche well at all.

Same here in my base RWD. Close to 5000 miles (8000 km), faultless. Except, occasional (very rare) assistance system warning signs that disappear itself.
One annoying bug is, preconditioning via phone app is temperamental, when it says could not connect to the server!
But I really do feel sorry for those having a lot of problems.
By the way, how much does it cost to extend the warranty for 3 more years? Others please chip in who know the answer.

Kind of. It would have been taken back months ago if it were bought as a private consumer. If you buy/lease it through a company like I did, it takes about 6-7 faults that aren’t fixed and a court case with a 50% chance of winning to be able for them to take the car back.
I’ve already spoken to my lawyer and it’s basically a gamble, although this situation might make everything different.

I would of loved an American lemon law by now, would have saved me months of headache.
