Well our Macan rwd ev has been almost faultless for 14k. So it seems we are lucky. In this respect we extended the warranty for 3 more years. I hope that after 5 years Porsche will have all issues sorted in an improved Macan.
Very good review of a rwd macan. I have just been on another roadtrip. To Italy. Which was super fun, without any problems. Driving 160 kmph is a breeze with sport mode engaged. Consumption is 18,5 kwh overall after 12k.
Range is not a problem for a Macan EV. Did a trip to Spain from Holland in April and will be going to Italy in September. We pick hotels that have a charging point, which is handy in that respect.
We did a roadtrip from The Netherlands to Spain an back and used the Porsche app and Chargemap which is similar to Plugshare I reckon. Both are sufficient, but ABRP is indeed the best routeplanner.
You can easily plan your route in the Porsche app, which is pretty accurat. We drove from a hotel close to the border of France in two days to home 1400 km. We charged 4 times, but also charged in the hotels to 80%. Charging goes so quick that you need to hurry with drinking coffee/ toilet;-)
Charging was fine, but once the fast charging failed. It was a Shell recharge station. Walked away from the car and after a few minutes we could charge, but too slow. We drove to a charging station further down the route, also Shell and everything was fine again. Also beware that Tesla...

We drove from Amsterdam to Spain in two days via Dijon. No real traffic issues because it is off season. Charging goes quick and there are plenty fast charging stations available along the highway. The 14 way seats are also contributing to a relaxing drive. Choose the 20 inch mainly for the...
Hi Awaz,
The Macan EV can only charge at 11kwh not 22. For 22kwh you need a Taycan.
The Porsche charger are located at this hotel https://monsantbenet.com/en/hotel-mon/ in Spain. Which I can recommend.
Currently doing a road trip in Spain with the base Macan EV. Been driving from Holland to Spain in two days and that was a very satisfying trip. The 14 way adjustable seats and acc are great. Will be driving in Spain for roughly 2 weeks, which will be a blast.
Total kilometers are now 2118 and...
