I thought there was an Apple Music app in the App Store but just looked and can’t see it (Spotify is there). Has it never been there or has it been removed?

@JonnyDW from your profile I guess you are in the UK however the flag in this forum shows USA. @Administrator
I’m wondering if there is a Country specific filter going on that blocks Apple Music from the UK with the Macan?

That makes sense. Well, not why it’s blocked but explains why some have it and others not.

BTW how do I change my flag - tried before and couldn’t find it!

From the manual:

To use Apple Music in your vehicle, connect your iPhone via Apple CarPlay®. Ensure the iPhone is connected via USB or wirelessly, and activate Apple CarPlay® in the Device Manager. You can then access Apple Music through the central PCM display or via Siri® voice commands. For detailed instructions, see chapter “Apple CarPlay®”.

No app or native integration via PCM media as per Taycan.

This means you will use your phone's data.

Also changes for MY26 on other Porsches - https://ask.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/apple-music-podcasts/#applicable-models

on your iphone if you go to "Settings" >>"General" >> "Carplay" >> "select the vehicle" "Apps" and check if it is listed as below, you can also drag and drop apps in the order you want them in on the carplay screen

Thank you Stuart - I was asking about the native Porsche app for Apple Music, not CarPlaY. No issues with CarPlay. My assumption was that if there was a native Porsche app for Apple Music then you can ask Porsche to play music - it seems there isn’t, or at least not in the UK.

There isn't anywhere - only on Taycans, Cayenne and 911 globally for Apply Music, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

The only way is to set up via the instructions above and ask Siri to play...
