Plug & Charge now available for Tesla Superchargers via Porsche Charging Service

Can someone please explain the error in my thinking that Tesla Superchargers are the most hyped and least powerful chargers of the modern set of DCFC CPOs? 1. V3 cabinets (500VDC max) are 360kW shared across 4 units with potential site DC bus bar but still it’s 90kW per vehicle if fully...

Macan 4 multiple simultaneous system failures

Thanks for sharing the report, but how is the car after picking it up? Are you happy now, or maybe safer to say (for now)?

Plug & Charge now available for Tesla Superchargers via Porsche Charging Service

I will appreciate getting the Porsche NACS adapter so I have more options of plugs at these new CPOs that are now offering a mix of CCS and J3400/NACS handles. One of note is the BP Pulse Giga-Hub at LAX where there are 400 kW units are all NACS and the CCS units are 150 kW. It was a strange...

Plug & Charge now available for Tesla Superchargers via Porsche Charging Service

@daveo4EV I don’t believe I was saying that EA was the answer. As you know, I drove the Taycan for over 100,000 miles and most road trips were using Electrify America solely. Did I love it, no I wouldn’t say that. Was a successful yes for the most part. I was suggesting using thousand Volt rated...

Plug & Charge now available for Tesla Superchargers via Porsche Charging Service

@MyA you bring up exactly the reason I would not be using Tesla superchargers with any regularity. All currently publicly available units are 400/500 V DC maximum which means the Macan has to use its split pack technique, which has a maximum charging rate of 135 kW. Also, I don’t believe there...

Where to find a jack pad that fits?

And if you are in for printing your own, I found a model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1982998-porsche-macan-ev-jack-pad

Possible to lower suspension for entry/exit?

@aks The lowest suspension for PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) is ā€œLowā€ and set with Sport Plus; however, realized that Sport Plus is only available if you can optioned Sport Chrono. Else you can only access Sport via the drive mode selector (steering wheel knob) which will give...

    The Journey of Stealth 2.0

Thanks Dave, @daveo4EV Rookie- well compared to the folks I meet at cars and coffee. I think I’ll be a rookie for a few more years. :giggle: Superchargers will be a last resort. The 130kW doesn’t entice me. I already have the route planned and Hotels picked and probable charging stops...

    MY2026 Macan Delivery dates

My 2026 arrived at Emden yesterday awaiting loading onto a ship. I have the 3D camera speced. If curious, you can see the journey here https://www.macanevowners.com/forum/threads/the-journey-of-stealth-2-0.24073/

    The Journey of Stealth 2.0

Milestone 7: arrived at Emden on the 13th awaiting loading onto a ship then I can really track it. ;) p.s. I did get a single production picture, but it was of a raw body before any paint so I could not even recognize it as being part of my vehicle.

    MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

Two comments that may help. Elsewhere folks have said that if they switched to guest mode, the home charging works. Have you tried that? If you have Sport Chrono, then you can switch to sport plus driving mode, which will also precondition the battery. But also the other folks suggestions of...

    The Journey of Stealth 2.0

Milestone 6, protection, papers applied, and ready for transport to Emden. VIN was in the 500’s. I hope that doesn’t suggest low orders for the 2026 models. Very excited. Watched all videos I could find. šŸ˜Ž Note: I seemed to have received no photos of my specific build that others have mentioned.

Macan Turbo versus BMW iX M70

I will start with saying that I have a 2026 Macan 4 on order, hopefully arriving in a couple months. I did option: Phone as a Key 3D Surround View AR HUD Drive Assist (was InnoDrive) for freeways Passenger Display to allow copilot navigation and entertainment Trailer Hitch to hopefully enjoy...

Did anyone option the air filtration system? Opinions?

I have it optioned on my 2026 Macan 4, coming in March. As the only Hardware difference appears to be the ionizer, I don’t expect any different costs for maintenance. I had opened the Ionizer on my 2020 Taycan and required no maintenance in 5 years used virtually all the time.

Destination SoC estimate more than departure!!!

Could you make a slightly longer video that shows clicking on the upper right corner of the NAV screen where it has the clock and arrival percentage? It then shows details of each stop though I agree it does not seem to show any stops it may lend clarity.

    US tow hitch specs

FYI The Towing Capacity for all 2026 AWD variants was increased to about 5500lbs. Excerpt from the manual: I thought I had read that this was true for earlier model years as well, but I’m not able to find that reference so don’t quote me. I was not aware that there are any physical changes on...

[Poll] - Porsche charging specification lie? Macan is not allowing 11 kW max charge rate - capped at 40 amps? 9.6 kW max rate.

Well I too, who has a build going for a 2026 Macan EV saw clearly the 11kW OBC but also saw lots of inconsistencies also showing a 9.6kW OBC. I wrote to the Porsche North America spokesperson, shortly after the online configurator was cleaned up showing only a 9.6 kW OBC. Earlier posts speak of...

TopherDrives video review of the Macan 4S

@craz8 I had gotten my manual link by pasting a 2026 Macan 4 VIN that I found on a Porsche dealership website of an incoming car. My own car does not have a VIN assigned yet but that should be resolved by January 12 which is the build complete date target.

I know there is no range mode, I had borrowed the car for several weeks from the dealership. Am I expected to correct...

Thank you for pointing this out. You are correct that normal mode cannot be altered. Only other modes. I really need to get my own car :crying: Excerpt from the manual:
