Got delivery of my Turbo a few days ago and the clock looks great in reality. In darkness it is a bit anonymous but in daylight it's gorgeous.

Anyone know if you can retrofit the Porsche Design Clock?

Yes you can. I replaced my compass with a subsecond clock from my Taycan. The mounting is a bit different so I 3d printed a new bracket. it’s exactly the same as original. You can adjust the brightness and it will show the correct time ;-). the connection plug is the same so no need to change anything else.

I'm guessing you don't get the Sport+ drive mode though without the appropriate coding.

You’re correct, no sport+ . Only a fancy clock

I think they are around 1200 US$. I bought mine online from a salvage car in Norway, 400 euro’s.

I have a slightly different perspective but admit that it's based on my "stable" of vehicles. I have a 2025 Macan EV but also have a 911. I would ALWAYS spec a 911 with sport chrono - but I really don't see the point of it on a Macan other than "novelty". Probably the #1 consumer issues with an EV is "range" - causes stress, anxiety, etc. Yet - every "performance upgrade" on a Macan EV (sport chrono, getting 4S or Turbo model instead of 4, etc.) will decrease range. The 4 is claimed 0-60 in 4.9 seconds - isn't that quick enough for a people mover/grocery getter? I understand that not everyone is able or willing to dedicate sport driving performance to a dedicated sports car.
