I had a similar system in my previous car, an Audi A7. I found that when I used the ionizer I would end up with a fine coat of dust all over the dash so I stopped using it. For this reason I didnāt option it on my 4
I agree completely with what you say here. In the a year of driving my Macon, Iāve discovered that charging speed is as or more important than range. Iāve been driving throughout Europe and rarely will want to be at the wheel for more than three hours at a time, so we always stop and take a...
Coming from my previous car, an Audi A7 with matrix lights, I am so far disappointed in the matrix lights in the Macan 4. They only become active at 60km, and Iāve found myself on small country roads needing them at speeds well below this. They also seem less sophisticated than the Audi version...
Although I clicked the Porsche app where appropriate to receive OTA updates, I donāt think any have come (although I donāt know how weād be notified). I connected my Macan to my home WiFi network and was wondering if this is how they might be delivered (although when the car if off the...
Thanks for all this info and the tips. Iāll be driving to the Alps soon and have not yet experienced cold weather driving and charging. Will my battery warm up enough if I charge it from my home charger (7kw) before leaving? I will definitely use the Porsche nav planner to get that...
I just restarted my iphone and it shows active now. Wondering what āone time activation ā actually means. Also wonder how we will be alerted about an update
Think I just found what I was doing wrong. The car must be already locked when you push the lock key twice. I was pushing it twice while it was unlocked. So it takes two separate operations with the key: 1) lock the car normally; 2) push the lock button twice.
Tried your method today and it worked on a rough ferry ride. No signs that the alarm went off during the voyage. When you turn off āinterior surveillance ā it tells you that this is only effective until you next unlock the car. Anyway it worked for me although I wish the ātap the lock button...
Yes I suppose just leaving the car unlocked is a solution. But ours will be filled with stuff, so it would cause quite some stress to leave it like this. No one complained about our alarm going off - I just got warnings from the MyPorsche app
For the second time on a ferry Iāve unsuccessfully tried to disable the car alarm due to movement by pushing the lock button twice in a row. Each time the alarm went off anyway when the ferry hit rough seas. I canāt seem to find anything on this in the manual. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
I also have the summerwood trim and wasnāt sure when ordering it whether it would look good with the interior. Now I have it Iām very happy I ordered it as it goes very well with the truffle brown. Hope you like yours too
