I used to get only 311 miles for 100% battery charge. Now 380 miles for full charge. It's normal?

Hi guys. I just got my 4S in Madrid and after 1 month , 5000 km i can not reach 450 km of range at all. Believe me if L said that most of the time I drive quite of the average of the legal límits. 120 km/hr max in highways
Any feedback ? Temperature ???

I have seen similar "adjustments" in longer range estimates since the update. I have also seen them self-correct to a lower milage after some time passes; but still above the normal published range.

After the update it must reset the ‘user’ data as if it’s a brand new car with no driving history. I would bet that the range will diminish very soon / after a few typical drives. I’m sure Porsche / dealer would have said if the update truely increased the range by more than 10%.

I guess that the difference is related to the erase of the driver history.

I am having the oposite happen. When I charge to 100% the app shows me as having about 300 or so miles range which I am happy with. But then, as soon as I get in the car the range shown on the dashboard has dropped to about 270 or so miles. Then when I start driving and do a decent enough trip the ultimate range I get is hovering arund 250 miles. It is cold in the UK currently so that doesn't help of course and motorway driving is another factor, but I am a bit peeved that with 93kw of useable battery that's all I am getting, while the discrepancy between the app and car range is just annoying.

Yes, I've had that experience even before the software updates. However, once I'm on the road for less than 30 minutes it will drop by at least 50 miles. It's only a guesstimator as I've read here.

I think @Paris92 comment is likely true. Here's what happened. Drove to Los Angeles airport yesterday from San Diego, around 125 miles based on google maps. Started with 100% (380 miles) and used 183 miles (43kw). Therefore, the 380 miles not an actual range.

In August I did 250 miles on one trip pulling into the charger location still at 25% and 83 miles - this was almost entirely 70pmh motorway driving. Very happy with that.

So, it's a little disappointing to hear that the colder weather range is only 250 miles. All depends on speed though I guess and I haven't done a longer trip during the cold weather to find out how far I'd get but my guestimating is that it would be around 270 miles. This would be a similar % range drop as my wife's car which we've had for 4 years so about par for the course with electrics. Had hoped the heat pump would improve things but maybe not in reality.

It's not much time I have the car however in this small amount of time I realized the main range killers are mostly extended uphills especially with curvy roads with low outside temperatures. In such conditions you may see the remaining % to reduce 1% even for every 2 Klm. With spirited driving most likely the covered distance it will be even less for the same percentage.
We get around 13-09 degrees during the day and close to the sea this time of year all the way down to 01-02 on the mountains during the night. It was way better 1 month ago when I got delivery of the car, with daytime 25 degrees/nighttime 11-12 a range of 480-500 Klm was possible with conservative highway driving. In the city things are very much better even with the present lower temps.
