Sudden drop in range

Macon 4 is 11 months old, with less than 5K in miles. From date of purchase until 2 weeks ago, 80% charge resulted in anywhere from 280-290 miles in winter to 310-320 in summer--car housed in enclosed garage in temperate Pacific Northwest. About 3 weeks ago when charged to 80% range indicated 224 miles; multiple charges since has resulted in indicated range for 315-325. Absolutely no charge in driving habits that could be cause of change. Took in for service and dealer states there are no defects in software or battery and that range variation of that magnitude is not of concern. Don't understand how range could decrease that much without something being amiss. Asked dealer to check with Porsche USA and they said unless there is a defect warning no way to get response for Porsche USA. Any others having similar issue.

Try to drop the battery to about 20%, let it sit overnight. Then (ideally slow) charge it to about 90%. Let it sit overnight.

That should trigger the recalibration of the battery and readings will be good/consistent again.

Worked. Ran down to 23% and then charged to 90%-316 miles

Don't understand how range could decrease that much

This is what's so frustrating about the range guess-o-meter. People believe it's somehow an indication of real range.
It's a guess, and the algorithm that guesses, sometimes guesses very wrong.

I’ve found mine to be very accurate., if anything a bit pessimistic.
