North American Turbo's come with it standard so I have it on my 2024 Macan Turbo EV…and just checking now it's also standard on Macan 4 EV…hmmm -standard on all Macan's in North America.

I'm not sure I could tell the difference...but I doubt it's enough money to matter when optioning an $80K + EV

Biggest difference is at speed where the steering is heavier.

Parking speed you won't really notice.

Porsche describes it as follows, but would be quite surprised if e.g. a 911 steering would somehow be inferior at speed w/o PSP.

At Porsche, everything revolves around perfect road holding – and therefore around driving enjoyment. Power Steering Plus increases this even further. It adjusts the steering dynamically to your speed: At high speeds, it responds directly and extremely precisely. At low speeds it operates with greater steering assistance, permitting particularly easy manoeuvring and parking.

It's just the opposite, the PSP's only difference is in parking mode. At speed (at least in the Macan EV), they are the same.
Speed sensitive ergo heavier / more precise at higher speeds and lighter when parking.

I've had PSP since 2012 on an array Porsches (Macan, Boxster, Cayenne, Panamera, Taycan, 911) and so quite familiar with its purpose and uses cases, Macan EV will be no different (loaner Macan EV 4S and Turbo with PSP behaved in the same way).

It isn't a dramatic change at either end of the speed spectrum.

Let me refrain then, because I think that we say the same thing with different wording:

At speed there is the same heavier feeling with PSP or without the PSP option. At parking speed there is a lighter feeling with PSP.
Both options have Variable Steering Ratio (adjusts the steering ratio dynamically to your speed).

PSP has more weighting and sensitivity at higher speeds than standard power steering at the same speed.
