Choice is good I guess, but not for me, With such a short development cycle expect it to drive just like a Q5 (which is underwhelming), unlike the previous ICE Macan.

I somehow think that by the time this thing emerges in 2028 it will no longer be required.

nothing is "knee jerk" with cars...it takes years upon years for these things to happen. Porsche needs to be profitable. the EV market is the growing by double digits...and using another already developed architecture for a low model car is smart money... if you want Porsche to succeed, these purist ideologies have to be more flexible...everyone was mad when the Macan, Cayanne and Panemera came out cuz they weren't 911's or Cayman's. and look what happened...
