The unallocated GTS that have come up on the Porsche finder over the last week seem to be selling well/quickly.
17 have come up (UK numbers):

8 sold
9 remaining

Demos?

It is odd however to see available cars and normally this wouldn't happen.

Looks like Turbos are sticking though - casualty of the GTS now in dealers and a better price.

Odd indeed... these (GTS) all appear to be un-registered cars, like you say, strange that there are so many unallocated when I remember folks hunting around for an allocation at the time only to be told the two initial allocation slots most OPC's had were taken up already. Cancelled orders possibly, but the specifications look very similar and OPC-like (most with sportdesign, GTS interior, gloss/satin black wheels).

To be fair to OPC's, they did appear to receive their initial allocation pretty soon after launch, and only had a couple of weeks before spec-freeze, so it's possibly just a case of bad timing and many of these are just dealer spec cars.

Great combination of the GTS in Carmine Red and Neodyme wheels! I too am looking forward to owner drive reports of the GTS with 22” wheels.

Finally a look at the GTS 21 inch design wheels

Quite pleased actually- bit darker than expected which is not a bad thing
I think they look great, having now seen them outside of the configurator I think I’d likely have specced them like that!

Yeh it was one of the hardest decisions for me, i always wanted 21s for range/comfort over aesthetics of the 22s - which pushed the always strained man budget further anyway 😂

The 21 offroad design wheels are still my favourites but aren’t available on this car

Considering there are at least 13 brand new GTS cars for sale in the UK, It's very surprising that not even one driving review has appeared online. ALL only the same promotional visual stuff rehashed.

Positive is that they do appear to be shifting them (UK)... I was manually tracking the ones that have come up on Porsche Approved.

As of this morning, out of 33 that have been up for sale in the last few weeks:

16 For Sale (all new/unreg).
17 Sold (one was reg/ex-demo).

Still a crazy amount of unaloccated cars IMO.

I'm interested since I'll only get my deposit back if they find a buyer for mine, otherwise I'll forfeit that, or will need to find a way to buy it now (and I'd really rather lose the deposit & wait until the house move situation settles, and not have to sell the SpyderRS to make it work short term!).

So if you're in the UK, and fancy avoiding a wait for a decent spec (PT5SUHI4, available next few weeks), that still isn't showing on the finder, + cheaper compared to others online, then feel free to DM me for details.

Not sure 33 is correct as I've checked every day and think 19 was the peak. 1 went "2nd hand" ie 'approved', a couple were sold and then a few more arrived.

Hard to be accurate as not all dealerships have posted their first allocations and none of these numbers account for customer orders.

The spec of these cars is not ideal and if anything priced too high (GTS interior, HUD and 22" alloys add a lot). Suspect there was a large batch shipped with Porsche UK spec rather than dealer spec.

The next piece of excitement will be the arrival of the Cayenne EV (June) where the base Cayenne can be specced < £100K with the options I'd rather have (tow bar being key) and newer tech making it a better and more affordable choice with more standard kit. All of this makes the Macan EV over priced now and this first batch of GTS models are evidence of that.

I'm sure they'll find buyers come registration change as leases are exchanged.

Just wait for the discounting to begin come Q3 / Q4 together with some high spec approved models.

There should be some strong deals available, just like on the Turbos early last year. A friend of mine secured £10k off the list price of his Turbo.
