MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

OK, I will start a new threat on this, but thanks for confirming that double the charging speed will halve the charging time.

Please do start a new thread since most of us expect this thread to focus on the recent software update.

My dealer couldn’t run the upgrade on my car (MY25 4S) the update couldn’t initialize according to the tech that worked on it.. anyone else had that issue?

Update on my update -
After the dealer had the car for 2 days, it seems that the HV Control module is having issues with the update, so they are ordering the part and will try again after replacing it..
anyone else had this issue during the update?

Ventilation is "fixed" on my side.
It seemed that one ventilation in the back was "stuck" . A SYNC from the climate panel fixed the ventilation on the back left to be ease down again although it was down according to the info display. Now it's calm again and temp is good in the cabin.

@chrisk regarding your 5% loss. I am wondering if you had the vehicle at a fairly high SoC or it was pretty hot on that day. Watching the Out of Spec video reminded me of the somewhat unique feature of the vehicle. It will self discharge to save the battery if it is left at a high state of charge or the temperatures are extreme. In Kyle‘s video, he said something like 90 hours before such action is taken but this was based on information provided before the actual launch.

Already long done … though the software update is also related to the battery behavior …
PS can you also mention the people complaining about their seatbelt to stop complaining as well, it has nothing to do with software.

Anyway, on another note, the software update made CarScanner + OBD worthless (it was not the best tool, but it “worked” before the update).

In my quest to understand better the battery charging capacity at different temps, I tried to use it again after the update. All PIDs have changed, and the info in CarScanner after the update is complete rubbish.

So if anyone has a working App + OBD reader after the software update, please post.

Carscanner still works after the update, just as badly.
With a 70% Soc (68% the day after)

Well the sensor data is for me completely empty which in the past was not the case for me … and values that where in the past correct are now completely wrong …
Im speaking about that long list … that is for 99% empty now, for me.

You are lucky with an max energy capacity of 96.6kwh that is over spec

The Max Energy Content was currently about 93 000.
A month ago , after ten days in my garage, my Soc loss 10 % and the M E C down to about 51000 !!
The maximun range has also dropped in the same way.
The same day as the update , my dealer "reset" the BMS and all seem to be ok now.

The range calculateur , which has gone crazy, was still crazy.
I made a PCM factory reset , at home and it seems to be working fine now

Just a followup in my previous posts about newer cars (post Summer) and the possibility for 28.13 to be already installed from the factory upon production.During a visit to the dealership they confirmed his car has the latest 28.13 software version,it came out from the factory that way sometime during early October.Most likely same counts for mine also which exited the factory 20 days earlier.

Just called the dealer to ask if ours (purchased in June) was eligible for the update. It is. Plus 2 minor recalls (cargo compartment cover, seatbelt plastic slide).

Never got any notice from Porsche, just heard about it here.
