i am talking about a normal system. you seem to have really bad luck. whoever reports a problem, no matter how rare, you have it too. soo sad 😢
Yeah, seems like it but mine was one of the first cars off the production line (I pre-ordered).

I don't have all the problems fortunately ;) build quality of my car is rock solid, no rattles and I have not had any issues with the high voltage system which disable many cars. Just lots of errors but they go away on their own and you can drive.

I would really like to enjoy this car, for an SUV it drives great and there is no match for it with any other car on the market at the moment (Neue Klasse looks like crap, Teslas are not even close, most other EVs drive artificially).

These problems are getting addressed one by one and at the moment so either they'll fix it or I'll wait and replace this car with a new one. I've owned many premium cars, this is not the first Porsche I'm driving and I have not had this many issues with all my previous cars COMBINED ;) so I'm sure you can understand my frustration. Enjoy your car, it's great you got one without any issues.

Mine also disconnects without warning.

It did so just today on a fast dual carriageway. In fact it always disconnects on this road in the same place so I was expecting it. After a couple of hundred metres it reconnects and all is well.

I don't have too much trouble with the principle that it decides it can't cope and disconnects although I'd obviously prefer it didn't.. I'd just like a nice soft beep to draw my attention to what it was doing.

In a separate thread, I mentioned that I repeatedly get Innodrive error messages now on a short part of a US highway that was changed, rerouted on the ground. The error messages occur, but Innodrive continues to work properly. Once I return to the original highway, the messages go away. This caused me suspect that part of the system relies on data of gps-mapped highways (and that the data on this rerouted section is now out-of-date).

yes. innodrive uses gps and map data.

Yes, this is one these bugs or design flaws that are simply dangerous.

There are two scenarios:
1) system sometimes quietly disengages and it happens without any warning or sound notification - the car will simply drift and you have to notice it and take control
2) in some cases (something unusual on the road like passing a bike in construction zone) a red circle with a warning to take control and a very audible sound goes off - this is the way it should behave anytime the system decides to deactivate on it's own but in my care it's very rare

I was very much surprised this happened for the first time and it's one many reasons I don't trust this car anymore.
I'm completely with you on not trusting the car! I have given up on using most of the systems I used to love about my previous Audi e-tron as with Porsche they just don't behave as they were intended and are dangerously not fit for purpose.

I don’t dispute anyone else’s experience but for me Innodrive works very well. Used it yesterday for about 140 miles of freeway driving and it made the trip significantly more relaxing and enjoyable. It never disengaged and dealt with changing speeds from 75 MPH to walking pace and the occasional boneheaded driver flawlessly.

i second that.
statements like ā€œdangerous not fit for purpose ā€œ are absurd .
