How much torque for the 4S without the launch control ?

...Seemingly the 4S has a reduction of 13.18% approx. with VS without the use of Launch Control.
516PS (with) - 448PS (without) = -68PS equals -13.18% reduction.
Same for kW, 380kW - 330kW = -50kW equals -13.18% reduction.
Therefore most likely the torque reduction will follow the same rule,reduced approx. -108Nm so it should be around 712Nm.

If we assume that max torque is at the same RPM (reasonable for electric motors which produce flat torque and max at low RPM), its a simple equation.

330ps/X = 380ps/820nm

X = 712.1nm

The only caveat is that they don’t explicitly say that the torque number with launch control is the overboost number. It is a fair assumption since they usually go together but overboost and launch control are not quite the same thing.

I didn't but googled the specs for the 4S and so 604 is the base torque figure.

My math jibe was for an approximation only.

Not sure why Porsche don't publish it perhaps cos it's not that relevant really for most.

2. You provide a number you just googled (even though it obviously seems off)
3. You then share a screenshot with specs from Porsche that do not support the number you gave
4. When asked for the math you suggested others do, you have nothing

Just for everyone's future reference - the "AI Overview" answers from google use their Generative AI to provide natural language answers based on search results.
These are NOT always correct. Always double check the links it provides as its sources.

In this case it looks like Google provided the same value in both nm and lb ft - hence the confusion on the numbers.
820nm (or 604 lb ft) is the launch control figure - so still no official number on the value without launch control.

The math calculation is an educated guess, but it's not water (or bullet) proof
If there is a technical point that we ignore, it will not work

I plan to order a 4S late april or in may , in order to use it in october.
I am nearly sure that I will not use much the launch control mode . I am more interested by the normal usage of my car. It's a pity that Porsche does not communicate about the performance without the launch control.

I doubt you would be able to feel the difference, the 0-60 time is likely around one to two tenths of a second faster with Launch Control. That’s based on my testing of my Turbo with my VBOX.

There should be more difference concerning the 4S
The turbo is 639/584 while the 4S is 516/448
So there is 9.4 more power in launch control for the Turbo , but 15.1 % for the 4S . It should translate in a three tenth of second : not really a big deal .
