Hi everyone,
I collected my new car (4S, 20” wheels) on Friday (I swapped it for my Macan GTS ‘18 on the same day).
Today I drove back from a village close to Aviles, Spain to Madrid center. I decided to mentally forget about range anxiety and drive the car like my former ICE Macan.
I charged the car to 95% and left, it is mostly all highway but passing through a montain pass (El Huerna, 1200m absl) where driving above 120km/h makes it uncomfortable due to the curves, then 300km of relatively flat highway where I drove 150km/h ish traffic allowing and then for the last 50km I had to reduce the speed as we were approaching Madrid and traffic was heavier.
I stopped roughly in the middle for 20min, just enough time to grab a sandwich and a coke. I charged from 30% to 83% ish, that was my first charge ever, very straightforward using the keyring to activate the charger.
And the charge:
I arrived with 23%, the outside temperature ranged from 15 to 26C.
Overall very happy with the car! (Bose sucks but I’ll give it a bit of time to break in as mentioned in the forum, I need to figure out how to get the Porsche nav system and Waze for the radars at the same time).
