Change rear "PORSCHE" lettering to black from Glacier Blue

The only thing I didn't want on the pre spec'd Macan was the glacier blue "Porsche" letters in the rear. I am picking it up when I am back in town, but was just sent photos of it. Does anyone know if the letters can be changed to black or painted or wrapped? Or is the lettering behind the glass? It is hard to tell in the photos/videos I have seen. I don't mind the blue light strip, but the letters stick out way too much. Maybe my thoughts will change when I see it in person

Thanks that’s good to know. Ideally I would order the black letters from Porsche or a 3rd party but haven’t found them yet.

I'd say it still looks good and is different to the other Macan's, maybe drive it for a while before adjusting?

You can change it at the dealership, it can be replaced , soit’s possible to get an other

I saw this on a Frozen Blue Metalic Macan at the dealership and it looked amazing. It's brighter in person than in the configurator for sure. That said, I still think it looks good in other colors including yours.

I bought black “Porsche” letters from suncoast Porsche for the macan

@Slate4S, my recently delivered frozen blue Macan Turbo has the black letters, and I sort of wish I had ordered frozen blue. I don’t know how difficult the removal is, but might consider swapping.

It’s good to know that it isn’t impossible to change if you build or buy something and decide you want something else.

Personally I don’t really understand the black lettering. You can’t even see it unless you’re right there at the bumper. And there are two options for black logo in the configurator, go figure.

I know low contrast and debadging are style choices, there is no right or wrong. Just seems to me that it might as well be an option for no lettering, if it’s not visible.

I regretted ordering the black letters, they fade in and don't show up at all. You won't know the car is a Porsche from the rear. I'm changing it out to the blue lettering

I have the Blue on Slate Gray Neo and I like it. I would give it a chance in person before doing anything.

I fully agree with you and seriously considering getting the Glacier Blue. Please tell me you have it done and satisfied with the installation.

Are they individual letters with adhesive or is it a faceplate of some sort?
