I’ve got a puncture in the rear offside and as the car is a lease been dealing with kwikfit mobile. They’ve been unable to source any Bridgestones but confusingly have said they can put a pair of other branded tyres on then said they can’t because Porsche only allow all 4 to be the same brand.

what are the options then? Try and get all 4 replaced with another brand??

I’m switching to Goodyear, already done for the winter tires and summers next season will also be swapped from Bridgestone to GoodYear

The same thing happened to me and my normal tyre place said the Bridgestone Potenza hadn’t yet been released (generally) so I would have to get my Porsche dealer to fit one so they did (avoiding changing the other three tyres). I asked the dealer why this was the case and they said they did not have this information….not very satisfactory..

Is the puncture repairable? Repairs can be made on the flat section of tyre, not the curved shoulder. Could then get an internal patch installed at a tyre fitters. Personally I plugged mine myself with a slime kit on Amazon - your choice.

Failing that, stick some branded part worns on for the remainder of the lease. Money down the drain otherwise! Doubtful it says anywhere in the lease you need to have 4 matching tyres.

If part worns can't be found, the Potenzas are available on camskill depending on your wheel size, e.g 20" 285/45 R20 & 21" 295/40 R21 but no other sizes looks like.

I'd ask your Porsche dealer- and if they can get one, ask them to ask the fleet company for authorisation.
