L2 charging is AC based and therefore slow in charging and as a consequence there is no concept of or requirement to precondition the battery prior to charging. DC charging speed benefits from preconditioning only.
Check your L2 cable (EVSE to car) rating (amps) as it sounds like it is 50%...
Not sure that's the case. When HV battery has a high state of charge recuperation is (logically) limited and the energy lost as heat. This does not mean that the motors don't provide braking and only under emergency braking would the rotors come into play.
You could research the Owner's manual but go to Trip settings in PCM and you'll see the graphic depicting green flow for recuperation and blue for energy consumption.
Pretty sure (99.99%) AWD is active all of the time and never 2WD. No different to Macan ICE or other AWD Porsches including the Taycan.
Drive distribution will vary depending on drive mode selected and prevailing conditions.
Historically, the Taycan at launch in 2020 through 2022 shutdown...
Depending on conditions your car will use the motors to slow down if you enabled recuperation. This method is known as overrun recuperation and simulates engine braking in a mon EV.
Using the brake pedal and depending on how hard you press the pedal the discs will also come into play (e.g...
Not really - more for descending step slopes where the brakes are automatically applied and the vehicle height raised.
Your car will be just fine as is but would recommend using manual recuperation to modulate speed when traversing slippery roads - avoids having to apply the actual brakes and...
Gridserve is supported.
Can I suggest you use My
Porsche App Map and search for chargers. You will get a list of all supported operators and how to access either via your RFID card or QR scanning - there are many.
To be restricted to Ionity or Porsche would be somewhat limiting!
Your "adviser" is a clown at best.
Plenty of quality issues reported which is disappointing to say the least. Taycan was similar at launch in 2020.
Getting a launch car can be risky in hindsight and would discourage it.
Ensure your EVSE is in dumb mode and has no programming enabled.
Let the app manage the process with PCM.
Power cycle the EVSE too to clear any cached settings.
You can use any EVSE (wall charger) with the app.
The app programs the PCM and not the EVSE.
Advise to read the Owner's manual and get better acquainted with the process.
Profiles and timers are managed within the PCM. Whatever you program there will appear on the app and vice versa.
UK version calls it overrun.

Language translation issue i suspect.
Thrust in this context makes no sense given it is retarding the car rather than propelling (thrust).
Taycan has...
