Time will tell I'm sure. The article is from early Dec and I think the axe fell soon after.
Cayenne EV will be on sale in 2026 which will be another reason to avoid an Audi equivalent.
Required for certain markets I believe - same for Taycan too, so been a thing for quite a while.
Not sure where you'd store a space saver if you bought one.
Standard as you know will be the tyre inflator and tyre sealant which is always what you need!
I think the Q8 is dead - no plans to retool and the factory (Belgium - only place they were made) is up for sale from what I read a while back. Audi are blaming slow EV sales / market confusion rather than they built a car that no one actually needed.
Macan EV + Q6 e-tron are as similar as the...
Q6 etron is the sibling of the Macan EV and would be a more accurate comparison.
Q8 production has ceased and factory to close due to poor sales.
Soft close eventually came to the Taycan at refresh time and so will likely make an appearance at some point.
So this issue and many others were issues on the Taycan- check that forum.
Disappointing that these carry over from model to model.
Dealership competence is a potential concern also. In the early days of the Taycan it was lack lustre at best.
Not on the Taycan or Macan if your rolling code is proprietary. I use Horman for openers which have their own Blusecur rolling code and is not.
Perhaps Genie is similar?
Porsche haven't screwed anything up as this is an oem product.
My only gripe is that the system has been moved from the...
Limited to EA in NA and Ionity in Europe as far as I'm aware although other providers are looking to aggregate those operators support P&C certificate exchanges.
Always quicker to initiate a charging session with either your RFID card or RFID key fob.
P&C is slow to react in my experience.
Re Homelink - typically the issue is if your door opener uses a rolling code for opening / closing - it won't be compatible with Homeline and you may need to use a non-rolling code opener OR invest in a Universal Receiver (which doesn't use a rolling code and Homelink supports 100%) and attach...
Taycan owners will remember this period well - disgraceful that this legacy has found its way into a new model. Many of the Macan EV issues surfacing are analogous to the early days of the Taycan J1.1 (and I hear J1.2 is better but not perfect).
Better source is the main Porsche website - https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/search/macan?model=macan&category=macan-electric&category=macan-4-electric&category=macan-4s-electric&category=macan-turbo-electric&order=price_asc - they are most certainly not all 22".
Many are demonstators, a few...
Option is within Media for radio broadcasts and Nav for anything else.
Display Traffic Notices - uncheck. If you want to reduce the volume (as per Nav guidance) adjust the volume during the announcement
Nope as the target charge is reached within the time windows and generally long before the departure time.
A second charging session with direct charge enabled and preheat set would likely work with a little experimentation.
