This is consistent with my dealer as well. The first "service" is a multi-point inspection, address recalls, etc. There was no cost for this service. The two year mark is an actual proper service that I will need to actually pay for.
This ā€œserviceā€ can really happen anytime you want a recall done. I’ve had 2 ā€œservicesā€ done in a year, with multipoint inspection, car updates, car wash - always free.

I realise you get great enjoyment from policing posts from certain EV owners on here (as opposed to non-owners). I just said that the Porsche dealer service receptionist said it was a mistake in the marketing software and she told me they recommend a service call for ICE Macan’s at 1 year old.

Not according to the ā€˜My Porsche’ app on my iPhone.

I took delivery in April 2025, and the app is displaying October 2026 as the first service date, at approximately 18k miles.
Mine has done 21k miles and doesn’t need a service until March 27 or another 8400 miles which would be 30000 miles. And the number keeps getting bigger every time I look. I got it in Jan 25. It does need a new interior filter so it’s booked in next week. The app let me know.

@kEV Just curious about two things - the 'My Porsche' app screen capture notes 'Ice Macan'????

Also -curious - are you running your tires at 35 psi? As I recall, full load cold tire pressures listed on the sticker on my Macan 4's door jamb states somewhere around 50 psi.

35psi would be consistent with an ICE Macan, so logical to assume it is.

They aren’t on 30k services though. From memory my ICE GTS was 15k.

I have an ICE Macan (3 years from new) and very well acquainted with the servicing requirements and 12 months hasn't featured. This was the same when I had my first Macan when launched originally - nothing has changed.

I suspect the 12 month "service " relates to wiperblade replacement and things of that ilk which some folk can't manage themselves or simply skip.

This was the same for every other Porche I have and owned since 2003 (including 2 Taycans).

Ice Macan is my pet name for my car in the app. I guess the feature is there in case you have 2 of them to manage in the app?

Tyres are 35 and that’s what the dealer set them to. Curiously I looked at my sticker and it says 37/41 depending on load so looks like I need some air. Do I pick 39 as sometimes it has one person and sometimes 2(and sometimes 3,4 or even 5). Why doesn’t the PCM tell me my tyres are under inflated?

I would go with the most regular setting and if you are fully loaded consider topping up (most people wouldn't).

The app or TPMS won't ping as the deviation is within whatever tolerance you have. Check this on the car and that TPMS is set to the correct tyre / rim choice.

I have a speculative answer for your particular situation. The majority of MY 24 cars were delivered to dealers late September or early October 2024. I bet when your dealer did the initial prep for the car, the reminder was set for 24 months(i.e. October 2026). They probably did not reset it when the car was delivered to you. Just a guess; you might run this by the dealer to see what they say.
