Walking to the shop in Galtür and stumbled on a Macan EV charging.

Looks really nice. Almost no camouflage except a tiny bit on the front and rear lights.

Plates from Stuttgart off course

Really large HUD
Sun roof that can be openened
Charging ports on both sides
Sport chrono

To dark to take pictures of the interior. Couldn’t really look inside

I got super confused by the reflection of the white SUV for a second. :p

I really can't decide what I think about this car. I don't think there's anything in particular that I overly dislike about it, but compared to the Taycan it just feels so bland. There's practically nothing I actually find interesting about it and a lot of the bolder design choices they did with the Taycan seem to have been scaled back significantly.

Thanks for posting, nevertheless!

Would LOVE an operable sunroof on the Taycan refresh ….

I can dream, right?

We haven’t heard of the specs yet. Hopefully some surprises there.

Otherwise it’s difficult to make a crossover/SUV look better than a sedan, especially given that Taycan is arguably the best looking EV out there. ;)

Still not sure about the split headlights, not a huge fan of that design choice.

Agree with most sentiments above-- that said, the "fun colors" of the outgoing Macan petrol have made it more enjoyable (see: Miami Blue). Hopefully this, in GTS trim, in Carmine Red or Miami Blue, turns some heads.

A few things noted:
- power charge ports, but how do they open? Clearly the rear right door slid into the internal body work (Ala Taycan), but I wonder how you open/close it as I see no button
- Fastback styling, but still has a rear wiper. This is appreciated, given that so many fastback vehicles (Polestar 2, Kia EV6 etc) lack a rear wiper.
- Conventional door handles. Where the Taycan and 992 911 have both gone to these flush handles, I'm surprised to see the Macan still with standard ones. Especially when you'd think they would want to add every little bit of aero benefit for a clunky big vehicle like this.

I don't mind the split headlights but the lower lights are big, on the Purosangue those are slimmer and somehow hidden. Looks like its the same headlight from the I7.
I don't like the front bumper, too boring, maybe the GTS/Turbo version will look more interesting.

Bland, ordinary, undesirable.
Rear quarter lines seem very Audi like.

100% with you on that one.
Hoping this isn't final or that slight camouflage parts are making it look worse than it is.

On the other hand, I have yet to see a car that makes that look good...

Next time if you peel back the stickers/camo when no one is looking, it would be appreciated.

Hyundai's design people will be flattered with that front end.
