Will A New 2026 Color Be Red?

In yesterday’s Porsche official press release for the 2026, 911 I noticed two standard red colors. Hope the 2026 Macan gets either Guards Red or Carmine Red added. Even better would be that we get a no or minimal cost metallic red, but any red would be a nice addition — especially since Papaya is now history.

I wish Guards Red was an option when I bought my 4S. It also looked great in Signal Yellow which was shown in many of the launch photos but not released as a standard color option.

“YES” to Signal Yellow. How about Porsche if you offer it at $2,840 for 2026 calling it Signal Yellow Nero? I would spring for it at that the $2,840 Legedns price.

I like the Yachting Blue, Signal Yellow and Guards Red suggestions above for a new 2026 color. Would happily choose any of them if offered but PTS pricing removes that for us. Just created a configurated one with Racing Red — which I also like.

If only one of these would replace Papaya, even if they add in the word “Neo” and charge the extra $2,570 we would enthusiastically choose one of them

Carmine Red looks really dull without any sunshine . Shame they didn’t add Guards Red instead of Carmine.

I like the Lugano Blue but I think I'd have to see it in person.

It doesn’t look that dull on most of the vids I’ve seen in greyish weather. I think the Cayenne coupe is the closest comparison in terms of car shape and look of how it will look on the Macan. A lot of colours look better with sunshine, but I guess it’s all relative. Have to try and see the colour in the metal this winter.

We all have different opinions. Mine (worth nothing to anyone else) is that Carmine Red looks pretty good on both the ICE Macan and the Cayenne, however that if I could change its “tone” it would be a little less burgundy and a little brighter, and second it would be a metallic. But again those opinions are just mine. But as posted above, one need to see Carmine Red BOTH on a sunshiny day and on a cloudy day to make sure it is what you want.
