While my 4s was at the dealer... They gave me a 4s rental with very different options. Some observations!

Any ride quality/road noise difference going from 20s on yours to 22s on the loaner?
I am thinking about getting a set of 21s but I dont really wanna sacrifice ride quality on my daily beater.
I've got a Macan 4 with the 22" design wheels shown above on the loaner. I'm on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, not the Continentals. I think they look amazing - absolutely beautiful and some of my favorite Porsche wheels ever. That being said, I think the ride is a bit too harsh, especially considering the air suspension. I just expect more refinement from a $100K+ car with a Porsche badge on it. If I had it to do over again, I'd seriously consider either the 20" or 21" options, even though I think they're a pretty serious step down in terms of visual appeal.

I completely agree with your assessment of the looks.. They truly are stunning. If only they were available in 20"......

100%

I wish Porsche had either given us a few more 20" options or offered a "comfort" setting on the air suspension, which would really be my preference. I think if they just had a slightly softer and more compliant option on the damping for daily city driving, the 22" would be a no brainer.

When I test drove a purosangue it had 23" wheels and the ride was pretty bad too. You can't beat not having sidewall even with air suspension, the ride is going to be bad and I think the sacrifice is too big.

I never get to look at the wheels myself when driving anyways so its hard to sacrifice something I experience 100% of the time while driving(ride quality) just for a nicer looking wheel when I walk up to the car.

Still do wish we had more options too like you said. Shame to hear the ride on 22s suck, I heard 21s also are not much better and 20s are the way to go, but I think they look too small for the size of the car. shame...
