Waze directions now show in instrument cluster

I was using Waze this morning and noticed that the route now displays in the map display of the central tube of the instrument cluster.

In the past the map that was shown there was from the built-in navigation system and didn’t show the route — that was only shown in the PCM central display.

There are still no navigation arrows in the HUD, but this is a step in the right direction.

Apple Maps (and Google) always did from day 1. Waze was added a few months back.

Kinda disappointing that they show simple direction and not the full AR experience on the HUD with the phone navigation.. like how difficult is it to have it fully integrated ?!
