Note to all waiting for their Midwest US cars...I noted before the amethyst Ace, which my car was coming in to Baltimore got postponed. My SA told me today my car is on the Future Way. A boat not even on the pmr schedule! It departed yesterday with an ETA in Baltimore of Oct 11.

My Papaya Turbo finally left Emden after 54 days. Coming to San Diego on the Gaia Leader ?

54 days after it has been produced or after ordering it?
My turbo’s production was finished on April 10th and got on the boat on the 16th on the SFL Composer.

Here is a bit of Track Your Dream (lite edition) for our group since official TYD is unavailable to us

When you know your car is at port in Emden waiting to be loaded onto a ship (from your SA), the following schedule of near term departures applies:

Shipments to the Northeastern US and Midwest should ship from Emden and arrive at the reopened port of Baltimore MD. The next ship on this list to Baltimore is Amethyst Ace which arrives at Emden September 6 according to the excellent MarineTraffic App. https://www.marinetraffic.com/mobile-apps

For Amethyst Ace, the shipping schedule indicates loading from Sept 7-9. After a stop in Halifax, it is scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on Sept 22. All this lines up with the delivery date quoted to me.

Once you’ve verified with your SA that your car is loaded and can guess the ship’s name from the schedule, you can follow the ship’s progress using MarineTraffic.

If I find out more, I will update this thread. Hope you all enjoy access to this information.

I have been fortunate to order many Porsche's and been clued in as to all the details from build "lock" to dealer delivery…

I have learned the following:

Watching big powerful world wide production and shipping logistics in real time is painful, exhausting, and fraught with confusion and mayhem. Best to ignore it all and wait for the dealer to call you when they need the money because paperwork needs to be complete for your delivery in the next few business days - or buy one off the lot.

Frankly, allow me this disagree. The Track Your Dream app on MyPorsche is actually fun to watch. Although it does not give you an exact date (which just cannot happen with the soooo many variables and potential logistical glitches involved), It creates the right amount of anticipation.

The other suggestions such as MarineTraffic are just the same, you can see the vessel’s progression but you just cannot do much of anything else but just hope it does not sink (as it has happened before!)!

Yes you can buy one off the lot as long as it corresponds to your needs. I prefer to order it to the specs I want (even though I may be wrong on some (!) and wait. Even if it is the 1st time that I am without my own very car as I had to let go the Taycan sooner than expected. Found a very enthusiast buyer that wanted it NOW.

So overall, not so painful, neither exhausting. Confusion and mayhem is not what I actually feel. Information is quite appropriate and elegant. So different from all the misinformation we are overwhelmed with nowadays.

Track your Dream has been pretty spot-on for me with my last 3 Porsche orders (Taycan, 911, Macan EV), without more than a couple of days delay in updating info, and the ETA also being within days or at most a week early/late.

And this latest Macan Turbo I have on order was reported by TYD/MyPorsche app as leaving Emden just a few hours after the ship actually left port based on marinetraffic/vessel finder. It's on the Siem Confucius which is scheduled to arrive Baltimore port on May 5.

54 days after it got to Emden. I ordered it March of last year, and it got assembled mid February, but didn’t leave port until April 17th.

But if I take a look at the port’s infrastructure in Halifax, Canada, there seems to be a lot of cars to move unless the picture was taken at a time where there was huge backups!?

Dealer told me they expect the car 1st week of may!
