For the past two days, the mobile app has stopped receiving data from my car. I called Vodafone, and they confirmed that the connection is active. However, when I try to access the data menu in the PCM, it doesn’t even open. Also, the mobile signal shows just one bar of 4G since this issue started.

Has anyone experienced this and knows how I can fix it? The dealership offered me an appointment in 20 days, but I really can’t wait that long.

The first thing I would try is to reboot the PCM by holding down the volume knob by the climate controls.

Do you happen to have a Vodafone cell phone that you can check for the signal strength at your location?
The signal on mobile is full

There’s some threads about this if you do a search and I’ve experienced this myself.

I believe a reset at the dealershipis te only way to resolve this. Note that a factory reset (through the PCM) is not the same as the type of reset a dealer can do, which is ironic since I would assume “factory” reset to mean reset it completely to how it was from the factory lol but when you do a factory reset it’s obvious they are persisting some UI configurations that obviously means it’s not actually a full reset.

Also, I would NOT recommend doing a factory reset to try to DIY troubleshoot this because when I tried that my entire car lost access to data (so can’t access Porsche profile, no traffic data on navigation, no charger occupancy info, etc…)

Good news is dealership was able to handle it within 1-2 days after receiving guidance from Porsche HQ

Same or related problem here. No regular information on state of charge and activity regarding charging. The app does refresh location, status of doors, windows etc. and it is able to receive planned navigation destinations.

It's an issue with the Porsche Connect service on the server infrastructure side.
I base my assumption on the following:
It's not an app issue because I can get the data through the Porsche Connect Home Assistant add-on, and it's the same data I'm accessing in the app.
It's also not a car issue, because it's happening to other people, and the car's software hasn't changed.

I don't think there's anything we can do until they fix the problem.

I've had a similar issue for the last three weeks. No 4G/5G connectivity, no app connection (app currently thinks it's 150-miles away), no ability to input a navigation address in the car, no internet, no SoC update. I can create a route on my app and send to the car, so navigation is possible, but fiddly. I can also plug the phone into the car with a USB-C wire to play Spotify. So there are workarounds.

I assumed this was yet another software issues, since I've got a September 2024 car and have the full range of issues:
- Random disabling of safety systems
- Occasional charging failures
- Occasional loss of internet connection
- Reboots of Nav system
- Loss of settings
- Passenger wing mirror not returning to the correct height after reversing
- etc. etc.

I've been waiting for the week-36 software update for MY26 to be available as I assume that's my best chance of fixing all the above, and am reluctant to leave the car with the dealer for 2-days for the April update if it doesn't fix everything.

Be curious if this requires a full software update or there's another fix possible. A "soft" reboot from holding down the volume control doesn't work.

Similar issue here but I do have 4G connectivity.

While the app isn't updating with SoC or range, everything else seems to be syncing normally (vehicle status, mileage, vehicle location, tyre pressure, and trip data).

Battery is currently on 62% but the app has been stuck on 49% for over a week.

Also, I can't send anything to the car such as preconditioning or a destination.

Sounds like a remote access authorization issue. I called customer service who provided me with the link below to upload screenshots and submit a report. Awaiting feedback.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I reset the PCM a couple of times but that didn't help. Ended up deleting my account and resetting the vehicle to factory settings to no avail.

Does anyone have any updates regarding the resolution of this issue? I still don’t have data in the car nor any updates on the app. I spoke with the dealership and they told me that apparently there is some problem with the server, which is why all this is happening.

Was at my dealership today and my SA mentioned this issue... Seems to be a Porsche server-side issue but doesn't affect all vehicles (my still seems to be updating via app) - which MIGHT mean (depending on config) it may only affect certain servers/users?

Nothing on my side … still doesn’t work

Like @cottony suggests a trip to the dealer might be the solution. I’m trying to avoid it for now
