why would you want to ? I can only assume it’s due to the range you lose ? But I have the 22 spiders and they look amazing . So what I lose a little range but I plug in most nights anyway so makes no difference

Good luck, one of my regrets is not getting the 20". I configured with 21". I would swap not for the mileage but because I'm petite and it's harder to get in and out of car. When my tires need replacement I'll switch then; maybe. Curious why you want to go down in size?

Yes I bought the Turbo with stock 20 inch wheels which I keep for winter and bought the 4s 20’s … for noise, comfort and yeah the extra mileage is a nice bonus …

If you were willing to swap for the 21", I would be happy to do it. I really want the 22" since I am just buying a set of 20" wheels and tires for the winter anyway.

I had a similar feeling/regret with my 22” initially due to noise, comfort and range and wanted to downsize.

I have since grown use to it and I’ve been getting pretty good range overall as well and am happy with them. I do have 20” winters which could change my mind again once I put them on lol

Car height does not change with wheel size …

Indeed, when shopping for a spare tire at https://ezsparewheel.com/ I found that the spare they sell works for all sizes of wheel, as the wheel & tire have a combined diameter of about 30" for all OEM sizes.

It's not exactly the same, but it's close enough for a spare running at 50mph max.

Mostly use the SUV for ski runs and the 20s are better on snow!

Yes, height (damn auto correct ).
My remark was in regards to the wheel size, it has no impact on the height of the car, the tire gets adjusted to compensate for wheel size change …
A 20 inch wheel equipped car has the same heights asa 22 inch all driving conditions

Hi there. I'm new to the forum.
Has anyone compared the 21" wheel/tire combo to the 20" wheel/tire combo for a balance of ride/handling/comfortable drive.
It seems the 22" wheel/tire combo is a bit firm and two of the three suffer. Does going with 20" or 21" wheel/tire combo make a big difference. I can't find much of a discussion between these 2.
