Well SuperH, the local Audi dealer has the SQ 6 e-tron now here in the States. I bought the Macan 4S after giving up on the Audi delayed production and delivery of these models. I'm not done with the Macan and most of the issues raised are on functions I don't need to use. But let us know if you make the switch!

UK again: My Macan 4’s speed limit recognition was really impressive – over 95% I’d say – but since my car’s recent ā€˜campaign’ software update, it’s got noticeably worse.

There are stretches of toads along which I regularly travel, and I was impressed at the accuracy of the speed limit recognition. Now on those same stretches, it’s wrong.

I’m taking the car to the Porsche Centre in a few weeks time for something else, so shall ask them to look at this in the hope that a further software upgrade will fix it.

Yes I’m still having the problem, I can drive past a speed limit sign and it totally ignores it. I had the upgrade and it made no difference whatsoever. Local agents are at a complete loss to remedy

Yes, the mapping data is totally out on a lot of roads (dual-carriageways a real problem) so it just slams on the brakes as if it's going onto a 30mph road! Also very poor speed sign recognition. My original Taycan had better software than my Macan EV Turbo...

I find that my husband's Taycan is much better than the Macan. The April software update improved it slightly, but it was still unusable. I am pretty sure they did a software update when it was in last week (for a random frunk lock failure that was setting the alarm off as it thought someone was regularly breaking into the frunk!) and it appears to have got slightly more accurate again, however still not to a useable standard of safety/trust.
