Same here .... passenger side drops by itself.. usually overnight. Happened last Saturday during a wet storm. Not good. Drivers side, when you raise the window to the top occasionally lowers itself immediately to half way. Have to operate the window a few times to re-set. Also, rain drips in above the rear view mirror. It will all be mentioned when it goes in for the charging flaps to be re-aligned

To me this happened two weeks ago but on the rear passenger side. From what you all said, it seems to potentially apply to all the windows (and not only a specific one). I wonder if this even has something to do with software or if it's a hardware issue.

Happened to my wife 2 weeks ago. After entering the car the backdoor window went down, and when closed, it went down again. Took around 10-15 rounds before it stayed closed. When it happened again in a public garage I took the car to the dealer. They confirmed an issue with the window motor control and that it is a known issue, so they changed the motor and control. When I asked, if this could happen again with one of the other windows, they said "yes", but Porsche would only replace them if the issue actually happens, not precautionary.
They also advised me to document any issue with pictures or a video as those problems not always show up in the car's error logs and could not always be replicated in the repair shop. In our case there were entries in the error logs, luckily.

Porsche stated it is a "known issue"?? Did they mention anything about what they, Porsche, is calling this issue? I've been having this problem for about a year now and no one here is the US knows anything about it. This way, I can tell my dealer what to look up for details.

No, they just said that it is a "known issue" with the motor.
What annoyed me the most was, when I asked, what happens when this issue shows up after the 2 year warranty, they said "buy the extended warranty". As a German I feel ashamed for what has become of German engineering ethos!

I just got my Macan 4S back this evening. I was told that this window problem is indeed a known issue and that it is fixed by Campaign WSJ0 Update to software network VR28.13.
For me, this was an intermittent issue, so if the window stays up for 9 months (or maybe an entire year), I’ll agree that it has been fixed.
Lastly, I was told that this issue affected Macan EVs produced thru end of 2024, maybe into Jan 2025.
