Matrix headlights - program euro settings?

I think the biggest issue is that Audi is much easier to program Compared to Porsche. Porsches PIWIS system is more compliated and now is encrypted so you a PPN account to do anything.

Yep, they confirmed that they do not work on Porsche. VW and Audi, no problem.

I think it’s either going to need 9xx to do in person or someone from rennlist to activate remotely through PIWIS

Tesla just released an OTA update activating the LED matrix headlights on its cars, including my older 2022 Tesla Model 3, which I suppose doesn’t have the “updated” hardware required by the US in order to meet their more strict glare prevention specifications. It makes me wonder whether Porsche could apply for whatever exception Tesla did until they start producing cars with the updated hardware…

I just purchased my Macan and am trying to get this done. Has anyone made any progress? I have PIWIS 4 with a PT3G connector, and I'm able to read from the Macan, but I get stopped at the Porsche security.

You need a PPN account. On newer models everything requires online connection.

I know someone called it out but my 2025 Taycan was recently coded to unlock full matrix. Taycan has more features with HD matrix lights but the 2025 has the new security that makes it harder to code. I need to ask him he has done any Macan EVs yet.

I’m interested in what they say. I’m hopeful if someone have a car to poke around on they can figure out how to activate the matrix lights
