English language but German text on PCM?

This morning I got in my car and the charging screen was in German. The parking app is in German but everything else is in English. I changed nothing in settings and looking at the Car Settings it's set to Language English.

Maybe reset the system or subscribe to Babbel and learn German?

This happened to me with my Taycan. I went into system settings and change the language to German and then back to English. This corrected the problem for me.

Something similar has happened to me:

The welcome screen, camera screens and park assist are all in German, whereas everything else seems to be in English.

I've checked system settings, which confirms the language as English. I am unable to try the solution that worked for @Sparky, as when I try to 'change language' it gives me no option other than English.

What to do?

Wait till tomorrow. Mine just resolved itself.

It took a week or so, but this morning I fired it up, and hey presto, the welcome and camera screens were in English once again!

Taycans in the early days suffered from this - notably with NAV - poor software (still) but will self heal.
