when I was picking up my Macan in April of 2025, the dealer told me there was a recall on it due to aim too high blinding oncoming traffic? I wasn't too sure but does anyone else feel like their headlights without high-beam, are just aimed too low or seems to be very dim? I wasn't sure if its just me.

A guy on rennlist said he was able to code 992.2 headlights to have matrix ability, so maybe there's hope for us?

The recall wasn't due to aiming the headlights too high -- it was that for being brighter than allowed in the US, the headlights used European brightness settings.

But is basically exactly what we've been looking for...

Yup, from what I read, PPE platform has a new security gateway and encryption architecture that has yet to be cracked. And unfortunately, no aftermarket coding options until then.

ahhh yes, now that you mention it,...
according to the site, he's actually a Porsche partner...so maybe he has the access and tools. I'm still going to inquire. can't hurt

Porsche partner or not, they are not going to give him the tools and access to violate federal law. I'm actually surprised that he's still cozy with Porsche given what he does.

I've been in the modified car scene for quite a while and while my Macan EV will be the first car in a long time that will remain stock, I still own tools to perform ECU flashing and coding for other platforms. Most of the tools for modifying and flashing have come out of Eastern Europe and Asia, and if something supporting PPE does appear, I suspect it will come through underground channels from there.
