[ADVICE] How much discount off MSRP can you expect from ordering a new MY2026 Macan EV?

Saw on Reddit that it can range anywhere from 3-8% depending on Porsche dealership / location.

In your experience, is this true?

For my case, I was given $3300 off for an MSRP of $101k. Will request more given that I’m updating my spec to an MSRP of $124k later today.

Take a serious look at depreciation, it's huge factor so there's lots of bargaining room. I paid $110K, but would maybe get $75K (on 8K miles driven) if lucky. If I had a do over (Macan 4EV 2024) wouldn't hesitate to negotiate a lease instead and give it back after two years.

I got 5% because I ordered it 6 months before launch date so there wasn’t more bargaining room. Discount to loyal customers at my dealer for the Macan is about 8-11%. Keep in mind that Swedish prices range between 20-30% higher than NA prices.

The Porsche dealer in my city refused to go below MSRP for custom orders; I had to go to another city to get 4% off.
In general, dealers aren't super happy to give discounts on factory orders, because you the buyer always have the option to undo the deal until you actually drive it off the lot and get your money back (in most US states, at least.)
The saying is "if you want to steal a car, it has to be in stock."

0% discount for me, because a) the Turbo was on allocation at the time, and b) it was configured to my specifications and possibly of no interest to another buyer if my sale fell through.

I was actually happy that the dealer didn't try to add a markup when we finalized the paperwork, I tried getting the purchase price in writing and pay a deposit but the dealer wouldn't accept that until the car was officially imported and added to their inventory.

You have a ton of dealers in your area. I would get a price from at least three dealerships unless you have a loyalty to your current one. I was looking at a turbo at Woodland Hills that was 45k off the sticker. It was an unusual situation but they kept going down on the price even after I had moved on. I think with all the competition and slack sales, you’ll find someone willing to give you a good deal.

I bought my current Macan EV from Porsche West Broward. They told me that they are giving 5% off customer ordered-new EV’s. Your contact there would be a good guy: Jordan Roe, Sales Manager @ 954-901-3044. Also unlike so many dealership that want a very large referring deposit down, they are asking for just $2,500. I intend to again call Jordan when my current lease is getting close to ending To order my next Porsche EV.
