I have an appointment to bring the car in next Thursday. Not sure if they allow customer to request what to do with the vehicle. But I can mention it to them. Thanks!@lukine you should just get them to downgrade the onboard charger software. I had this and it works flawless now. I'm sure in the future they make have a version that doesn't break charging, but it was just not worth it at this point. the Super Chargers here are 70c a kw/w so charging at home is something that needs to be available all the time. at these charger rates at the electrify canada (up until recently) you would have been better off with a petro car (when you take into account operating costs and capital cost vs opportunity cost of that money in the market).
This downgrade for only the onboard charger was the only thing that 'fixed' the charger issues for me. I had the charger patter alerts you showed until the downgrade (not the whole car, just the charger software).
You can absolutely do this. I had a problem with the HUD fading out in the sun sometimes. I found the workshop document that detailed this, and, on the second attempt, gave them the specific document number which they then ran through to fix my problem. The first time they simply turned up the brightness of the HUD.Not sure if they allow customer to request what to do with the vehicle
They should. All you have to do is explain to them at that you can't charge at home on AC, post software installs, DC charging still works fine.I have an appointment to bring the car in next Thursday.
