Confirmation email at 5:27p ET on 9/9 and so far no adapter and no shipping notice either. Just a data point. Edit: and it was delivered tonight 11/3, the day after I posted this. No shipping notice from Porsche nor FedEx. Just under 2 months from order to delivery, that’s fine for a free adapter.

The conflation of harmless notifications (that go away on their own) and rare problems (which are actually serious and deserve attention) used to draw some of the conclusions here is at best misleading, at worst dishonest. Sad world we live in.

My understanding is that this only shows recalls, not campaigns - and this is a campaign (as @jwatte also mentioned). Was it showing as a recall for you?

That’s because you asked to be notified when the adapter is available for sale. The free adapters are not given by dealerships but by Porsche directly. You get an email to request a free adapter and done: that’s how it’s done in the US and Canada. Everything else is fluff and misinformation.
