I recently visited a dealer to view a Macan electric with my wife, and she found the 14-way seats 'pinched' too tight around the thigh/hip area putting pressure on her back (she suffers with back troubles). We didn't get a chance to test any of the other seats, however, the sales guy suggested...
Ha, yeah good tax benefits for business users, but unfortunately I'm a private buyer (in the UK obviously).... Taycan was quite dreadful, like so many EV's they are apparently 'disposable' so value falls off a cliff.
On top of the latest round of political announcements, it drives more and more...
What is the collective wisdom regarding depreciation on Macan, the video suggests a $52k offer for a 1Y old / 13k miles vehicle that cost them $99k, gulp, almost 50% loss in a year! That is crushing in any book.
Quite a short review, but I enjoyed it. Some comments on her video were quite critical about the Macan being "Audi crap", and objections to the price, especially with 'necessary' options added. As a [potential] newbie to the brand (I've ordered BMW's for 30 the past years), I recognise the...
What size wheels do you have?
This is a 'common' problem on BMW X5 and 22" wheels (rear 315/30 R22) according to Kwik-Fit, as, they say, "due to the setup and the tyres being extremely wide". Fundamentally not an alignment issue, but "expected". I've no idea if they were talking total rubbish!
Thanks, I have the exact opposite situation with the local BMW dealer, previously fairly small, now acquired by Sytner, the customer service level has fallen far, sales donāt follow up actions.
Not driven yet, just collecting information to gain a better understanding of. Iāve probably conveyed I want cheap, but thatās not it at all. I will drop Ā£90k on a new car that meets my needs, and that I feel valued for too. I donāt like being shafted, just because, but happy to cover the right...
Yeah I saw the luxury package, about £5k, but probably still better than all the individual options.
The reason Iām considering Macan, is size (fairly small) - need to park in car parks sometimes (it may still be too big/wide for many), and passenger comfort, specifically the front passenger...
Thanks, of course the dealers need to be funded, a mix of service plus sales, but it seems the value to the dealers out of sales in recent years has severely diminished. Not sure it improves as many brands transition to the 'agency' model, where prices are set by the manufacturer and they pay...
I'm new to Porsche and considering a new Macan EV. Porsche Hatfield is my nearest dealer, they get 4.2 out of 561 reviews, many people appear to be very pleased with their interactions, but a few say go elsewhere. From Google, I see most dealers score about 4.2-4.5, which is in fact higher than...
I saw Top Gear Car of the Year 2026 (UK mag) goes to the iX3, outside looks fine, very unsure about the whacky interior. The Macan ticks many boxes for me, I think it looks normal inside and out, hence it remains a serious contender. I may just have to swallow some of the less pleasant moments...
Hmm, as mentioned, I am totally new to looking at Porsche, so far I understand:
Poorly equipped as standard, and options are expensive - my list is ~Ā£18k
Advanced tech is only just catching up (it seems to me)
Service (actual customer service as well as costs) is a lottery, but the dealer will...
