Not sure if you figured this out but if you could share any and all timer and profile settings you have active that would help enormously.
Depending on how you have the app configured (and if conflicting settings are present) it could be the case that one setting is cancelling the other leading...
You need to perform the setup from the PMCC where you link your Porsche ID to the PMCC. Until this has been done the app won't know.
Your PMCC must be connected either to your phone as a local hotspot or to your home router to be configured.
When connected the app will give you charging...
Important to have logged into the car with your Porsche ID at the dealership before driving off the lot so that all of this stuff can be checked out.
Sounds like the dealership PDI didn't go to plan.
Nothing to do with P&C and more to do with connectivity to your car or car to Porsche.
A good cell connection for both car and phone is recommended.
And as @Dave EV mentioned the add is for Porsche kit only.

Taycan has been around now for some years and continues to have niggly software issues some of which have been carried through to the recent facelift model. Evidence enough that all is not perfect and has been well documented.

I made a schoolboy error with my first Taycan and got home and car into the garage with 1% charge showing - software must be more cautious on the Macan EV. Taycan will warn you and disable various features until it dies.
More to it than aiding ingress or egress. Replaces PDCC which is a major suspension aid keeping the car always flat.
The base feature for ingress and egress should be part of the standard air suspension setup.
