I take it all back!
I wish Porsche would put everything live on the configurator from day 1 or at the very least advertise what's coming down the pike.
Pricey option and no real need for it.
Meh TBH.
Some inaccurate statements - mention of 22kW charging which is not an option. Watched this a week ago and rapidly lost interest.
We're all waiting for a proper drive and not a walkaround in the least likely country where an EV makes sense.
Sorry to be negative but really...
The EVSE must be added as a stopover in NAV (not a final destination) and must be DC and >= 50kW and then you have to have sufficient distance / time for the process to work.
Depending on the battery temp at the time ie if already in range then the effect of preconditioning will be less...
Yeah because the GTS has already more of the package - I've not checked but there will be logic to the pricing differentials. There's front rear and side elements typically. Add to that painted or not etc.
Have you factored in those "options" from the pack which are standard in the GTS already and so you are only paying the incremental cost?
These options prices are baked in - the GTS is much more expensive to begin with and already incorporates some features of the pack.
When you take this into...
Discounts on a GTS before the first cars are delivered?
Suggest to skip the Macan altogether and get the Cayenne EV (basic but great spec and cheaper).
Chrono clock has a digital 24hr display in addition to the sweeping analogue second hand.
It's a nod to the classic sports chrono on Porsches of old and apart from displayingt he time not really used for mich else. The compass is a fairly recent twist but typically the compass can be displayed...
The VIN determines what's applicable and in your case it's possible the car left the factory with any updates applied or indeed applied during PDI.
If neither are true then it could be down to timing and ultimately you will get added once your VIN falls in scope.
For now I wouldn't sweat it if...
I mentioned earlier that the heat pump (and primary purpose) will use waste heat from the battery to also help heat the cabin as part of the energy efficiency process to help losing too much energy to heating the cabin via the HV heater.
First thing in the morning on a cold day the heat pump...
Again, not sure that's correct: as the IPB performs 3 tasks Including cabin heating:
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/press-kits/the-new-porsche-macan/Batterie-und-Laden.html
The Integrated Power Box (IPB) combines three components: the onboard AC charger, which converts alternating current...
Not entirely certain that's correct.
All EVs have an HV (high voltage) heater and country dependent will have a heat pump as standard.
The purpose of the heat pump is generally to redirect waste heat from the battery to the interior as part of the efficiency and not the primary source of cabin...
Just the side bolsters are fixed in comfort and no adjustment on the squab bolsters (these are the additional 4 adjustments on the 18 way Sports seats.. It's the way to go.
Seat squab length and pitch are adjustable. Check any Porsche model with std, 14 or 18 way seats to confirm what you get.
