    Door closing issue

Thanks for the update! I remember test driving a 992.1 and having the same issue. I do hope they'll fix it in the future model years, it's a bit annoying.

What factory tires are on your Macan EV? Satisfied with them?

Agreed! I didn't know what to expect, but they've been perfect in super cold weather (-20ÂşC / -4ÂşF) so far: low noise, grippy, and predictable.

What factory tires are on your Macan EV? Satisfied with them?

Yeah totally. You don't want summer tires as standard in any place where it freezes (which probably leaves Hawaii, Southern Florida, and Southern California), so it makes total sense. I optioned the 21" summer (not the 22" performance summer) and got the Michelin Pilot Sport EV. I swapped them...

What factory tires are on your Macan EV? Satisfied with them?

Because nothing says performance EV quite like all-season tires straight from the factory! Seriously though, I get it, swapping tires/wheels is annoying ?

Macan 4 EV vs. Macan GTS ICE

It’s only my personal opinion of course, but as I said earlier in the thread, I would take the handling of the Macan EV (granted, I have rear-wheel steering) any day over the ICE version.

What factory tires are on your Macan EV? Satisfied with them?

I have to say after a few hundred miles with the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 (winter), I believe they’re quieter than the Michelin Pilot Sport EV (summer). I didn’t expect that ?

For those of you with Rear Wheel steering... happy with it?

I drove a Macan ICE with and without PTV+, I didn't think it was easy to notice the difference, probably because I rarely pushed the car to the point where it would matter. Rear-wheel steering has been totally different in my own experience. At low speed, the car pivots more easily around its...

What factory tires are on your Macan EV? Satisfied with them?

Thanks for pointing this out! Part of my remark is that I've been in other EVs with much cheaper finishes, and I'm still surprised by how not quiet the Macan is. But indeed, I have only tried the Michelin.

What factory tires are on your Macan EV? Satisfied with them?

I had the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on my ICE Macan and thought they were pretty good (considering they were all seasons), but the noise was not a factor. I now have the summer Michelin Pilot Sport EV and I like them better grip-wise (obviously), my main complaint so far is the noise...

Yet another Ice Grey Turbo Macan EV - owner first impressions

Yeah I wouldn't hold my breath for that, unfortunately. The ICE Macan had a pretty bad parking camera, and this one is not much better, despite the addition of the 360Âş views (which were a paid option in the ICE Macan). Compared to the other systems that I've liked (Volvo, Tesla before they...

Dashcam installation issues -- fuse box location?

Yes, will do as soon as I get my car back (in service to install a software update + winter tires).

Dashcam installation issues -- fuse box location?

I forgot to update this thread, but I can also confirm that my Thinkware U3000, installed via the fuse box, works in parking mode. I'm using the iVolt external battery too. I asked my installer to share how he did it, without success so far.

My biggest disappointment: The Sun Visor

It does seem to be common in Audi/Mercedes/BMWs, I didn't know! See it as a weight saving measure, for performance reasons ?

My biggest disappointment: The Sun Visor

I think I've used this sub-feature of the sun visor twice in my life ? Hopefully some of the other aspects of the car will make up for this disappointment.

Satisfaction survey - Poll for current Macan EV owners only

Sorry again to read about your frustrating issues. Having dealt with lots of US Porsche dealerships in the past, I’ve always found the customer experience to be terrible (despite interacting with always polite and often pleasant people). I have no doubt that Porsche is aware of how things are...

Macan 4 EV vs. Macan GTS ICE

I like this! Although RWD and 4 both make sense: RWD has the best range and the cheaper entry point, and 4 is what people think an SUV should be (although what they really need is winter tires). About GTS/Turbo - The gen 1 Macan GTS had a boosted S engine, and gen 2 (the one I had) had a...

Yet another Ice Grey Turbo Macan EV - owner first impressions

I'd say, traffic around NYC is actually quite slow on average. On a fluid highway, I do ~2.9mi/kWh.

Yet another Ice Grey Turbo Macan EV - owner first impressions

An almost perfect spec ? Just kidding, looks great! Definitely curious to hear more about InnoDrive, I'm not yet at the point where I regret not having it, but you never know. This. I've been passing cars on the highway a few times, thinking why is everyone so slow? Turns out I was the one...

Macan 4 EV vs. Macan GTS ICE

Same here. I've owned several Porsches, and the previous one was a Macan GTS (because... family!) To be clear, I don't pretend to be objective, most people here are happy owners of a Macan EV so obviously there is a lot of confirmation bias. My personal experience is that I have never really...

Macan EV Turbo Ice Gray Delivered and WOW 🤩

Wow, amazing pictures, love the attention to detail ? Re: brakes, I agree completely, in fact driving any other car can be scary, because you expect the brakes to be much more aggressive.
