So you're telling me you have a sample size of one person who happens to work at a Porsche dealership, and whose car has been broken because of software issues... ?️♂️
More seriously, it does look like software issues can be really serious (as we've seen on this forum), but seem to only impact...
That would make a lot of sense considering it's their biggest market and there is a high risk that importing cars is going to get much more expensive soon.
It's kind of hard to use average depreciation for a car like the Macan. It's a niche market, and demand is still not clear. The Taycan depreciation didn't follow the industry average, nor the Porsche average for ICE cars.
Until we have better data, I'd follow the official lease depreciation...
To balance things out a bit, Porsche went almost bankrupt several times in the past, and they have a stronger brand and more profitable lineup today. Luxury cars will be fine, I think. I'm more worried about the EV transition in Europe, and the social cost that may come with it.

Haha yeah same. At home, I still sometimes switch back and forth, and Spotify always sounds like the music is muffled a bit. In the car, I played with the different Bose modes and treble/bass adjustments, the result is always bad, I landed on Stereo / -1 Bass and that's it.
I was going to say, I use Tidal at home and I can hear the difference between Spotify and Tidal easily. In my car, they both sound terrible ? I have never listened to the Burmester system though.
When I asked my (well reviewed) local shop the likelihood that they would damage the wheel, they told me it was rare, but they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't happen. When I went to Porsche, they told me their machine never touches the wheel.
After searching a bit, it looks like common tire...
